Got this to charge newer Ltm batteries
It works very nicely. Even charged some of my older NiCd batteries very decently! I recommend this charger!

Works great for lithium and ni-cd batteries, 18 v
I have both lithium and ni- cd batteries. I only had the ni-cd charger. Now should my ni-cd charger go bad I still have a way to charge them. My old drill take ni- cd batteries, and my grinder takes lithium. Both are great but the ni-cd doesn’t last as long as the lithium do.Would buy this again if needed

My Porter Cable battery plugged right in and was charged quickly.
The charger appears to charge more quickly than the original one. I can't rate it for longevity since I haven't had it too long. The charger has all of the features as the original and the battery lasts longer in use, it has a deeper charge. I have no complaints, it got the tool up and running when my factory charger passed away.

I liked this item for it replaced my porter and cable rechargeable drill that just wore out.
