Field Trip Pork Rinds Variety Pack, 3 Flavors, 1oz, 6 Pack

I had never eaten a pork rind before, and I first sampled these in a Keto box I ordered on Amazon. The Parmesan one was okay but I couldn't help but wonder if the other flavors would replace BBQ-flavored chips for me (one of my remaining vices). So I ordered this variety pack. It more than replaces my BBQ chip temptation. It packs a much more powerful taste punch thereby being more satisfying than the chips I was eating. It is nice knowing they aren't too high in calories, that they are very low carb, as well as they provide a little added protein and fat. As I said in the headline, they are especially decadent where the fat and spices accumulate in the corners of the rind and still spicy but pleasantly airy throughout the rest of the "chip." They all taste good and spicy but my ranking is Sweet Chipotle, Island BBQ, and Parmesan Peppercorn.

The Island BBQ and the Sweet Chipotle are both very good. The Cinnamon Churro has very little flavor. You can barely taste the cinnamon. That said, these bags are very small, like the size of a single serving potato chip bag. Because of the price, I cannot recommend the product. However, if money is no object to you and you can live with the cinnamon ones being a little bland, then they might be worth it. Not for me, though.

These are the best pork rind snacks around. Good flavor and very light and airy. You don't get the rock hard " spit it out quick" little globs that seem to always be in the other brands. Not the cheapest but I think they are the best. Have re ordered them several times.

I ordered the sample pack with two island bbq, two chipotle, and two of the cheesy flavor. What I got was two of the island bbq and four of the chipotle. They taste great, super impressed with that. Also, I like that each bag is exactly two servings. But they are most definitely overpriced and I am bummed I did not get to try that third flavor.

Yes, These are expensive, but they WERE the best pork rinds you could buy. Now, they have changed. They swapped out Parmesan with Cinnamon Churro, with added sugar. This is the entire reason I buy pork rinds. The are very keto friendly. The added sugar negates all of that, so these are no good to me. To top it all off, these are STALE. I got these yesterday, with a best by date of February 5 2023. This is 4 months before the best by date. How can these possibly be stale already. Very disappointed. I will not be purchasing again.

They get a full 5 stars because they were a unique, fresh and a quality product. I can't say I loved all of the flavors with equal zeal but that is a personal thing, not a product thing. The cinnamon was strangely addictive, the chipotle was my favorite but the island BBQ had a hint of almost a 5-spice type flavor that I'm not a fan of, but my wife loved them.

All my bags were very stale I'm not happy too much money for 6 bags of stale product.

I am a diehard potato chip fan and needed something to replace those carbs. I am so happy I tried these skins! The flavors are fantastic. Most of the basic ones are too hot and salty or just too salty, no true flavor. The plain ones are okay, but need something. These have great flavor, enough heat and don't taste too salty. This fit the bill for my chip lovin' needs!
