One of my better purchases lately
This little tool works so good it impressed me, which is no easy chore. I used it looking for short comings I thought for sure would be there but surprisingly weren't. Give it up to good engineering, as its pretty clear they did their homework and worked their way through many issues they came upon for the most part. It is portable and for the most part works just as good as the kind you see mounted on a bench at an archery shop. Worth the money and then some plus it fits in your pocket not that I would take it into the field, but just amazed at the functionality of something so small. Just need a reasonably priced bow vise now and it'll be like I have my own pro shop.

Simplest is best.
I'm a beginner at archery. I'm practical. Can't own a bow without some kind of press to do your own work. How else will you learn about your bow? I looked at several portable bow presses just because I dont think I need a whole table and vice and all that. There was a problem with the post office delivery... I was slightly agitated at that....That doesnt have anything to do with the product itself so I'm still rating it 5 stars. This thing is simple...portable...and POWERFUL. I own a SaS Siege 55 lbs bow. I have seen a lot of questions on here about if this thing will work with this bow or that one. Look up mine and if yours is shaped anything like it you are good to go. The stoppers on the cable go pretty far down so I'd imagine it will work on a lot smaller bow than mine. I didnt need any adapters as the little limb hooks fit right through my forks at the ends of the limbs. Choose the closest stopper and lock the hook in place... slide the press away from the stoppers a bit as instructed. I forgot to mention placing the little leather shims they provide in the corners of the forks(this keeps the cable from eating into your limbs). I got this thing out of the package and my bow was literally broken down in 5 minutes. I only know what I have watched my roommate do with his bow, though he has a different kind of press. I basically watched and learned a bit. Now thanks to this press. I have a much better understanding of how my bow is strung and I was able to adjust my draw length to what I wanted. The handle is easy enough to turn for an able bodied male but there is a bolt top so you can put a socket or whatever you like on it to assist with turning it. I just love when a purchase satisfies^.^ This press is built to last and I will certainly be putting it to use whenever the need arises.

Wasn't what I needed.
It works well for compound bow. I was expecting it to work on a compound crossbow but it would not adjust. Decription did not specifically say it was not intended for crossbow. Sold it to bow hunter who could use it. Took crossbow to shop.

Good product
this is awesome. take your time if you are new to it and you will figure it out just fine. I had to use two socks i put one over my carbon fiber string stop and one over my grip piece as to not damage my finish.I was a bit nervous being new to tuning bows but now i have full confidence using this on my solid limb bow."warning i have not used this with a split limb adapter so i can make no claims on that"Would be nice if this came with a pouch but for the price point I am not dissipointed with the quality of the product.

Worked great, and easy to use
Took just a few minutes to change my cable and string the other day. Then I changed peeps and put in silencers. Making adjustments is easy with this press. It is easy to put on, turns pretty easily, and I feel secure using it. I do not have a split limb bow so I can not comment there. Honesty, I do not like how you have to attach to split limbs with any bow press.

Convenient - Good Product
Works as advertised. I've used numerous times and have had very good results. Took a little getting familiar before I could use efficiently but the press works very well. A little pricey in my opinion which is why there's no fifth star.

Better than expected...
I was pretty skeptical before I ordered this bow press. (Even though the reviews for this type of press are very good. I was pleasantly suprised at the ease of use and the simplicity of this press. It is also very compact and lightweight. I have read a few negative reviews of people saying that it is hard to crank. I haven't noticed this at all! If you do any bow work on your own and don't want to spend a fortune on a bow press, this is for you.

Unsafe. Need I say more?
I used this on my bow after tuning it down to ~60lb (+/- 5lb) of weight. Not even halfway into putting enough tension into the cables to reattach my strings, I heard a loud crack. I inspected my bow first, thinking that I may have cracked a limb. Fortunately, this wasn't the case. I then glanced at a section of the bow press cable. Several of the cable's fibers had snapped.I do not feel safe using this product, and I would rather not lose an eye when it snaps on me.

A great item to have in the tool bag
Just what I need to do occasional maintenance on my compound bows. Although I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, it appears well-constructed and I am sure that it will do the job.
