Nice product
This is an amazing product. I have been using it for past 3 years. Initially I set it up with Airtel V-fiber service which required a standard phone cable to be plugged into the back of the router. Later I moved to a location which had a dedicated fiber connection. It required a LAN cable to be plugged into the back of the router.Initially, I had set the product as a WIFI gateway which enabled it to work seamlessly with Airtel service. Once the moved to a location which has a dedicated fiber connection. I reconfigured the device , so that it can work as a dedicated router, and it works great. It emits 2 WIFI connections on 2.4 and 5 GHz band and 2 guest WIFI's as well.

Dip in wifi signal strength with the Linksys X6200
It's a good product with the latest features but I have found a drop in the wifi signal strength ... I used to use a N300 wifi dsl modem router and the range was quite better ... its placed in the same identical location but instead of a boost I have experienced a loss which is surprising for a product of this kind of make and price.I have missed the deadline to return it because of work related travel and am stuck with it I guess.

No compromise in quality.
Superb A/V-DSL modem. Also works with Airtel V Fiber(VDSL upto 100Mbps). Size is big and ventilation gaps are huge. Looks and functions are quite good. One can clearly see the components inside(not very good for dry and dusty conditions of India). Keep it at higher ground(away from dust), near fan(overheating can degrade performance and life) and clean it regularly using air blower/can(if require). <"space reserved for future updates, if any*">

Poor uptime, decent performance
I face constant interruptions and loss of wifi access with this router. Have to reset it atleast once in a few days and reset the entire modem atleast once in a few months. It's definitely not a hassle free router at all.

This a great product form Linksys
This a great product form Linksys. Have been using this for over 6 months now. The best part is it supports both VDSL and ADSL. The configuration is easy and supports most of the Indian Service providers. Make sure you keep checking the software updates by the company as they keep improving the features. Also, supports UPnP. The Wi-fi Range could have been better. Overall, i am happy with this product.

A Good buy.
A Good buy..... This router supports Airtel V-Fiber to a speed of 100Mbps........ Its also has DSL port in future if i want to upgrade to a Fiber Net Broadband like JIO i no need to change the device bcos i has 2 input ports.Easy Configuration.... Device look good, well build ... not like the Cheap TPlink, Tenda or Dlink..... Good coverage.... Cover my Flat of 1400 Sqr feet.

Pain to setup ** if you use Plusnet you need these settings ** no longer a Cisco product!
Purchased this to try and prove to our ISP that the intermittent line fault we're experiencing isn't anything to do with our (ageing) Draytek router. Rather than buying a new Draytek (£200.00+), I purchased this at £30.00 to see if it would prove or disprove the line fault. Given the HUGE price difference between the two routers, I was willing to give this Linksys a bit of grace.Firstly, it is a PAIN to setup. The 'wizard' is only for ADSL connections - not VDSL. So if you're on Fibre you'll need to do the setup manually which isn't straight forward. If you're on Plusnet, as well as their standard connection settings you will need the following:-Physical type: DSL (not ethernet)DSL Model: PTM (not ATM)VDSL2 profiles: AUTO** IMPORTANT ** without the next two setting, the Router will show as connected but not synced (ie no internet) **Enable VLAN: CheckVLAN ID: 101*******Next drop down is PPPOE, and then fill in your username from Plusnet and password.Netgears and TP-Link detect automatically, so even on a £30.00 router this setup is poor. The next disappointment, Linksys used to be owned by Cisco - Cisco manufacture world renowned networking products. Cisco sold Linksys to Belkin, who have made some pretty poor networking kit. I was a bit surprised and disappointed to find Belkin branding when configuring the router. In any case, the router is working, we have internet and is so far stable. We'll see if it irons our our connection problems or whether they persist (which won't be a fault of this router),,,

It's OK
Well it does connect to BT infinity, but I does not appear as good as my NetGear for performance, which I guess would be correct as when both where released the netgear was twice. It does have MAC access control allowing each device to have its own schedule which can be split between weekdays and weekends. The new BT Homehubs you could specify the days and I classify a weekend for children as Friday and Saturday nights. The interface for setting the MAC is not very intuitive and their online manual should say that you need to add The MACs in and the click on each one and set the schedule. Their online Chat support was very good. I do have an outside issue with the latest firmware, 0.18 that I can not see all the active MAC address to pick them, I have been told to back up the router configuration and set to factory defaults, but I have yet to do this.Giving 4 stars as it does work on BT, isn't as fast as the more expensive NetGear Nighthawk, but that does not have any MAC control, only some stupid OpenDNS, which does not work if the device has already cached the address before blackout period starts and it only appear to work for web traffic on port 80 and 443.So good value for the money to replace a BT HH.

Three Stars
Ok but fairly basic. Outdated now compared to much more powerful router.
