This stuff is my secret weapon with my whites. My husband always wears white shirts but he works hard so they get very dirty. My two young children also play hard and their clothes get dirty. We also have hard water so our whites always end up yellow and dingy looking after a while. I came across this product a year ago and have never looked back. Between my husband and children I use a lot of this product so I always get the 5lb tub. I wish there was an even larger sized tub - I'd buy it for sure! This product is not only great on whites! I safely use it on all colors to release stains (this is noted as permissible on the packaging). For tougher stains or when I'm washing whites I let them soak in this overnight before washing. For lighter soiled items that still need something more than just detergent I throw a scoop of this in the wash load and they come out ultra clean. This product works extremely well, in my opinion, and releases dirt like magic! I'm also shocked by how dirty the water gets when I use this product - it pulls the dirt right out! It does have a very strong scent that I don't particularly love but I am also sensitive to and picky about smells. I feel like the scent of this product wouldn't overwhelm or bother you if you're used to using any type of traditional laundry detergent. It does not bother my husband or children. Speaking of laundry detergent, you still need to use it! This is a laundry BOOSTER and not a laundry detergent. This white oxi clean is an excellent product. I use it in the laundry along with regular detergent and Lysol laundry sanitizer for duty stinky loads like from the thrift store. It helps get them cleaner and it helps with stains. Dosent get them all out but helps a lot. It also gets rid of the funky thrift store smell. Taking away one star because it does leave a soap chemical smell on your clothing. It’s not perfume , so I’ll settle since scented perfume detergents are disgusting!!! But it’s definately there and I have to air out the laundry room and leave fans on for a couple days after I use it. Still recommended though if you can tolerate it. I wish they’d make a completely fragrance free option.

Huge box for an amazing price and even better it finally got the stains off my white shirts. It works so much better than chlorox.

This is a constant reorder in our house because it keeps our whites looking fresh without the harsh smell or damage that comes from bleach. It doesn’t completely erase every tough stain, but it noticeably lifts discoloration and makes everything look cleaner and newer. I tracked this product down after trying to find out the best way to get whites white. I tried vinegar, vinegar baking soda and lemon juice. Vinegar works reasonably well on the stains, but the Oxy clean is the clear winner. Took the yellow sweat stains out of pillowcases and pillowcase protectors and sheets, duvet covers and mattress protectors all came up white. Some washes required more than the level of two on the scoop. Excellent product.

I was happy to pay over the odds to have free shipping for this weight. I'm sure that the product will be just as effective but I miss the blue dots in Original OxiClean
