The two products that really stand out from the Billy Jealousy line is the Hydroplane Shave Cream (The best shave ever by a long mile), and the Shaved Ice After-Shave Balm (The best I have used).This after shave is mosturising and has a very nice cooling sensation to it. The nice cooling feel is very refreshing, yet it does not burn even when I place it on skin that was nicked (it actually soothe it). Neither is it a weak minimalistic cool. It is a moderately strong refreshing "cool" (Just right) without any burning sensation that you get with some liquid after shave products--yet it last longer, and mosturizes. I love it very much. Unlike some of those who gave it negative reviews, I did not find this sticky in any way, nor did the cooling effect last too long. It is perfect if you want a 5 minute non-burning cool.I love this product and will likely get it again.

Seems like I am on the hunt to perfect my shaving routine. I have tried so many different after shaves from Clinique, Jack Black, Clarins...the list goes on and on. I even tried a new one AFTER using and loving this (sign of addiction?). And I am right back here. It could moisturize a little bit better, but that is a nit pick. It heals my skin right after I shave and my skin feels cool and tight. A good test is if cologne hits your skin right after and you don't wince. I don't with this product and do with others.The only downside is the packaging. Squeezing out some onto your palm is too inconsistent. Sometimes its a little, other times a LOT. And since it can't go back in the bottle some gets wasted.

I used a different skin care line for years, and recently tried just the hydroplane shave cream, and now I use the full Billy Jealousy line. Trust me, this is great stuff. I have super sensitive skin, and after I shave- no nicks,cuts, or irritation. If it works for me, I'm sure it would probably work for you.And not to stray from the point, but Gillette fusion pro glide is the best razor there is- trust me again, I've tried them all.And no, I don't get a commission if you buy that razor- LOL

This product is hyped to such a nauseating level that I'm reluctant to review it. And, it's overpriced. BUT -- it actually DOES help soothe a razor burn. It's not an earth-shaking effect, but it helps. Then, after a few hours, I have to go wash my face to get the Sticky off. Where it comes in handy is when I have to shave twice in the same day -- I don't like to Scruff-up a Lady's face (or other body parts), and my stubble grows out very quickly. So, for those late evening dates, it's the sticky stuff to the rescue. I'd use it more often if it wasn't sticky and so overpriced.

Good brand but the main thing I didn't like about this is the long-lastingness or thickness of it. It has an ok smell and dries nicely but 24 hours later you can still taste it around your lips- gross! Get the Proraso pre/post shave cream and it has a better smell and gives your skin a smooth tightness and it heals nicks better.SHAVING- let me save you years of trial and error: take a warm shower & wash your face with billy jealousy exfoliating facial cleanser, shave afterwards with a $50 Merkur safety razor handle with good blades (save $100's on mach 3 refills!), use a $20 Tweezerman badger hair shaving brush to apply taylor of old street bond (or proraso) shaving cream (you can let it set in a minute), shave WITH the grain DOWN, SLOWLY, SOFTLY (don't press hard- let the weight of the handle and sharp blade do the cutting), lastly rub on a fingertip of proraso pre/post shave cream while your face is still wet and let it dry! Say goodbye to razor bumps and ingrown hairs FOREVER! Trust me- I've tried dozens of pricey face washes, shaving creams, and after shaves over the last 4 years. If you don't want to commit so much money yet- order the pre/post shave proraso cream online, buy proraso shave cream online or at bath and body works (under their C.O. Bigelow label) then get the cheap single blade disposables (mach 3's are too aggressive) at a grocery store and you'll notice a difference overnight.

I ordered this aftershave balm because it had won a number of awards given out by Men's Health Magazine and I can see why! This balm smells great, and absorbs quickly and cools and sooths my face after shaving. The scent is citrus. The company donates a portion of its profits to what they call "Human needs- the environment and the arts." Nothing wrong with that! The seller Luxury4Him was unbelievable and they only took three days to deliver after my order, and the shipping/handling was free. Fantastic.

Billy Jealousy has a "bad boy" reputation. That must mean, "Boy, this stuff hurts badly."Shaved Ice contains some good stuff -- aloe and oils -- but it burned my face. I was tired of going to work with the dry, burning sensation that B.J.S.I causes, so I discarded the remaining 60 percent left in my bottle.It clearly is a well-regarded product line, but it is no good for my sensitive skin. I'll look elsewhere for a good after-shave balm.

Internal bottle cap was very difficult to remove, the paper came off but left the plastic backing on the opening.Once open, the ‘ice cooling gel’ doesn’t provide any cooling at all.Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

Great product that leaves your skin feeling great. No issues with cartridge razors as described in previous reviews.

Very good. Makes my face feel like my bum did in infancy.
