Look amazing in my 100-year-old farmhouse. Put them on two bathroom doors. (Apparently locking doors were not as imperative in the 1920's??? : ) Great product.

I loved the lock's style, and substantial feel of brass! I ended up returning it because it was a little too long for the space I needed it to fit into, which was my fault because I didn't measure. But, I would definitely purchase this again if the need arises for another door! It is delightful to have an extraordinary beautiful lock instead of a generic, flimsy one! Very artistic design! 5 stars!

The quality of material 0f this slide bolt is very good. Its appearance is very nice. I had been satisfied with it for 6 months but it has broken. The simple pin limiting the stroke of the slide has fallen off. It was only pressed in place. For a $39 item a poor method of assembly. I have to drill and tap the existing hole and install a set screw or a round head Allen bolt might be better. I would but this again because it is very attractive. But, it is bound to fail and require the above modification.

I loved these but they did not work with my double doors - just the way the doors and trim were... so I did not install, but they were very simple and provided several pieces to make different types of installation work for most any situation. They were also very sturdy and I wish I could have used them - it was a no hassle return - good company - nice products!

I like the look of the slide but it came with no instructions so I tried contacting A29 by email and got no response. I looked on line at their website and found no help there other than pictures customers had posted of the slide. I noted that a poor review talked about the screws being weak so I pre-drilled the holes in the door with 3/32" drill bit and while installing the second screw, it broke off in the door below the surface. I now have to patch the holes and move the slide over - very disappointing. As I am now the second person to post about the weak screws supplied, I would highly recommend throwing the screws that come with the slide and buying replacements. I read this slide is built in India and I guess the low price of the item reflects the lack of quality in the screws. After looking closely at the broken screw, I might guess it is made from a material that is not steel - maybe a aluminum and painted bronze.I would recommend looking for a different slide and a different company than A29.

Nice design and good quality with fast service

Installed on Victorian doors. Sturdy and beautiful, though you do require some skills to align properly.
