Worth every penny.
I'm rating this item 5 stars because you cannot get anything better for the price. It's worth every penny and it does everything a tripod should do. It is made of durable lightweight plastic and is sturdy. Easy to adjust and pretty simple to figure out without using the manual. A few characteristics I like about this tripod is that it is very lightweight and compact when completely minimized. It even has a little handle which makes is easy to carry. It also has a weight hook which allows you to hang a sand bag or some kind of weight from the center to help against winds. Overall, it's a solid product for the price and I don't see anything to leave a bad review about with this nice little tripod. Oh, and it comes with a small carrying bag to store. The bag isn't the best quality but it does the job. Two thumbs up for this deal.

Very versatile tripod for the price you pay, love them ππππ
I found this tripod by ESDDI to be an excellent product for my Redfield spotting scope. Lightweight, quick to deploy, strong and simple. Canβt beat value and performance. No defects, well finished, smooth Panhead. Positive leg locks. highly recommended. This is a very versatile tripod. It can be set up very high (>1.6m) or very low. The centre column can become a boom pole, that is excellent for vertical shooting stills. Very stable. Lightweight and it is travel-friendly. Two of three legs have rubber grips for better hand-held handling. Legs can spread out in three levels of wideness. Has a bubble level. The leg extension locking mechanism is easy to use once I got used to the side of the latches that opens out. The legs extend very easily and are acceptable for run-and-gun shooting. It has excellent attention to detail and is easy to use. The design looks good and most importantly, the tripod works well for its versatility.πππ Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. Read this review. We all need a good story!
The hardest working company I ever have had the pleasure to do business with. This tripod is very nice and works really well. It's good looking and comes in a great carry bag. All the functions work great. When I discovered the head was not changeable I immediately posted an email to ESDDI inquiring about how to change the head as I wanted to put one on that had more bubble levels. I was informed that it is an integral part of the tripod and not removable. I was upset but ESDDI offered me a 50percent discount on one of their other model tripods. When I said I would send the first one back they declined, saying they thought it would be too much trouble. They gave me a discount code to use, when I purchased the new tripod and it is currently winging it's way to my excited hands. So I will have a light weight tripod with an interchangeable ballhead with a nice carry bag and I will also have the first light weight, pan/tilt tripod. ESDDI really scrambled and went way out of their way to make me happy. I would do business with them again without hesitation. Good products back by good policy and people. Special thanks to Linda and the support dept.

Great affordable and sturdy tripod!
I love this tripod! I had a cheap one that came in a kit with an older camera and it was so cheap and flimsy, it didn't feel sturdy enough to put my Canon 80D on. I searched for a tripod specifically for dslrs and liked that this one in particular came with a phone attachment. I also really like that the mount you put your camera on can come off so you can easily mount the camera on and then put it on the tripod.

Best value for its price range!
The tripod comes in a nylon carry case with adjustable shoulder strap and, all together, weighs 1312 grams, so it is SUPER light. I was amazed at how sturdy it is for its size and weight. The three-part extension legs are the only metal (aluminum) parts of the tripod. Everything else, with exception of the nuts and screws, is plastic (including the quick release plate and mount), which helps keep the weight to a minimum. The legs fully extend without much play, and the plastic locking tabs seem tight and sturdy. The minimum height when set up is 18-1/2", and is 48" with the legs fully extended. The center column extends an additional 8" via the crank handle, maxing the height out at 56". Extending the center column does introduce instability, so I don't recommend using it, especially with a DSLR or heavier. There is a plastic hook at the bottom of the center column to attach a weight or camera bag to, that will give the tripod a bit more mass and stability. The mid-level spreader slaps into place when the legs are spread out, connecting each of the three legs to the center column, and locks into place with a small twist of the center column locking nut. Each of the rubber feet swivel on a ball joint that makes it easier to get stability on slopes and uneven surfaces, and the tripod has a built-in bubble level.I like the small collapsible handle that is attached to the center column, allowing the tripod to be carried upright with your equipment still attached, while maintaining the center of gravity which helps decrease the risk of drops and spills. The universal quick release plate has a 44mm x 44mm base, and fit any standard 1/4" camera thread. There's an included phone holder as well. I'm not a big fan of plastic plates, but since it attaches to a plastic mount, I'll keep it. ESDDI states the tripod has a max load of 11lbs, but I can't imagine ever putting that much weight on it. My heaviest camera with largest lens (pictured) is only 2,658 grams, and the tripod handles it just fine. The only issue with mounting that much weight was flipping the head up 90-degrees to the portrait orientation. The head was not stable enough to support the weight, and I feared would likely damage the head. Using my smaller lens (with total weight down to 1,732 grams), it handled just fine, and I was able to secure it at every angle up to 90-degrees.I was concerned that the all-plastic construction would introduce skipping and creaking while panning and tilting, especially since there's no lubrication. I was pleasantly surprised there was none, and movement was shockingly fluid. Should it happen at some point, I'm certain some graphite will cure the issue. For beginners learning to shoot products, landscapes, and video, or someone needing a quick, light tripod as a grab-and-go solution, this unit is a good choice. It's the most solid tripod I've tried at its price point.
