Principles of Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology 2e

This book is my companion since 2009. It is very good book for UG students of Geology. The paper quality is ok at this price range.

When I recieved the package the cover of the book inside was pretty worn-out but the book is really good! The classification of igneous rocks has been elaborated beautifully ❤️

Good book

I've ordered gb mahapatra books earlier from amazon and their cover came off too easily so i was skeptical about this one but the quality is awesome so far...i haven't used it yet still i can say that its glued well and there is no dent....it felt like i got it from an offline store. Definitely buy it. If i face any problems with its cover or pages then I'll surely update here. Hope that helps!

The quality of print and binding is amazing. Im still giving it a 5 star. But i would like to say that the packaging was very bad. No protection. Just a thin paper wrap. The book's edges were damaged and there a sractch on the books cover. Please make the packaging better

I ordered this book and it's useful immensely for students. But the packing went wrong. All the pages at the end were folded and it didn't give me the feeling of a new book.

Best book to study igneous and metamorphic petrology.. The book gives recent examples and cites till recent publications.. The language is very lucid and is best for self study and as reference material for undergrad. Some topics are a little hard for undergrad but can be accommodated.

My daughter studies Honnors in Geology and uses this book for studying and also just to read for extra info. What a great gift a book makes! Thank you for excellent, fast shipping.

This book is essential to any geology students undergraduate degree. Winter is a great scientist and author and this textbook contains a lot of very useful information. I continue to go back and read parts of it even now that I'm graduated.
