Realistic castle!
I have purchased many Playmobil sets for my son and this is something he has wanted for several months. I highly suggest opening box and putting it together beforehand as it takes over an hour to assemble and little ones can be very impatient to play. The castle has lots of cool things on it like a broken wall, working drawbridge, trap doors and ladders. My almost 5 year old son got this today from Santa and it took a lot to drag him away from it so he could open other gifts!

Creative toy that needs work.
This is a beautifully designed toy with a functioning draw bridge, towers and plenty of tools, weapons, and interesting characters. The main complaint that was written by another purchaser is that the sections easily come apart, especially as kids move the castle around and pound on it. After snapping it back together a few times, I glued it together. Then an older brother got hold of it and it came apart again. I re-glued it with Loctite super blue, but I glued it into two parts, not one whole castle. That way my kid could open it and play inside very easily, or push the two halves together for a complete castle if he wanted. That gives it both flexibility and strength. It is so well designed that it is surprising that the company does not make connection pins that work. Dodn't they pre-test their stuff with playful four-year olds? They need to make the connections work, or include a tube of super glue. Otherwise, great!

Excellent Toy
I also purchased the Lion's castle when I purchased the Falcon Knight's castle. This toy is just a great as the Lion's castle and but not as big. The directions were easy to follow and easy to put together. I didn't realize how well Playmobil toys were made. I'm a true fan. This toy is so much better for younger boys than Legos since the pieces won't fall apart when they have their battles.

AWESOME
A great buy. Tons of little weapons and a good amount of knights to play with which are almost lego like. The kids can take off the hair the helmets the weapons and build them however they want. The castle does come apart easily so our two year old is always taking it apart. We got it for our 6 year old and he has a blast with it. The draw bridge actually can be "cranked" up and released. The doors can be locked from the inside, there is a trap door in the tower and a chain pulls up a ladder. All kinds of little working parts that give my kid tons of inspiration for playing. I will definitely buy more Playmobil stuff in the future. Its a bit expensive but if he keeps treating it nicely it'll last for a very long time.

Castle Assembly
This item is used in my child play therapy office. While the assembly is actually simple, the instructional diagrams/pictures are unclear. I've had a great deal of difficulty managing to keep it together at ther end due to the pegs not holding.

captivating castle!
Grandsons, ages 7 and 9, were absolutely thrilled to discover what was in the BIG BOX! Packaged well, they assembled a sturdy, realistic-looking (Playmobil Falcon Knights') medieval Castle and are eager and happy to play with it often. What a stimulation to their young & growing imaginations! Now shopping for them became easier by selecting accessories that enhance playing with the knights in their captivating castle life!

Christmas Gift-
We got this gift for my son for Christmas. He loves it. It was a huge hit. The working draw bridge, the canon...such a hit. The only negative is it falls apart quite a bit. If you try to move it will break into pieces. It snaps back together easily, but I wish it would stay together.

A fun castle!
My son loves this toy! It does take a long time to put together (especially since some of the instructions are wrong, but looking at the picture on the box makes it easy to fix) and it will fall apart, but it will also snap back together. We are big fans of toys that require the imagination to make them fun and this one definitely fits the bill! My son is currently four and I see this as a toy we will play with for a long time.
