Easy to put together if you follow the directions!

The cross bar is to small which is mentioned in other reviews. The easiest solution for me was to leave off one M bracket on both sides. The inside one. Otherwise it’s great and was super easy to install and took no time at all.

The brackets that were sent to mount to the snow blower fit the blower but not the screen. Upon calling for technical support I was told they knew their product was defective!!!! They offered no help in fixing other than to put a piece of tire on the bracket! Seriously??!! DO NOT purchase this item!!!!! If it wouldn’t have been such a hassle to repack we would have returned it, but my husband came up with a way to attach it so it’ll work.

If you follow the instructions, it will go together quickly and smoothly. 1. Some reviews complain about the bending of the fiberglass arch, use the adjoining rods for leverage and it flexes easily. 2. It is helpful to install the plastic in a heated area. 3. A small self tapping screw through mounting bar into mounting clamp bracket keeps the bar from rotating in the clamp brackets. 4. This is an excellent “universal” kit. That being said with a price 1/4 that of factory specific kits , you may have to do a few modifications to make it perfect for your application.

The media could not be loaded.  We installed this cab today on our Toro Powermax 828 snowblower. The brackets that mount to the cross bar of the blower are too big for the cross bar that comes with the cab. This absolutely makes no sense. There was no way to tighten the cab cross bar down to the machines crossbar. We had to add thick rubber shims to be able to tighten the cab cross bar to the snow blower so that there was enough friction so that the cab didn’t move. We were also missing one of the two C side extensions that make the cab about 6” higher. We had to pull the cover down as far as possible on the vertices side rods and zip tie the cover to the rods to get it to fit tighter and look right. We added some highly reflective tape at the top of both sides of the clear front panel as well adding reflective tape to the front of our snowblower for better night visibility. We made a few other slight modifications including cutting a slit in the front clear panel for our shoot control rod and had to punch two holes in it to relocate and U bolt the headlight back on for it to work. I’m concerned that the black material that this is made of won’t last very long as it is very thin and very cheap material. The stitching and seams are very weak as well and I suspect that this will not last very long. Will probably go back and use some black Gorilla tape and more zip ties and start reinforcing this in spots where I know that it will start to fail. We will try it out and see how it works when the snow starts flying in a couple of months. Only giving 3 stars on this. As one reviewer mentioned any protection from snow and wind in face will be worth it.

Easy to assemble, good for the price, but has a few minor issues. As others have observed, the bar clamp bracket is too large for the cross bar and requires putting a rubber strip or similar to get it to clamp properly.The other issue is that only support is the front bar, so even with the clamps very tight it can still tilt back with a small gust of wind. I put in a couple set screws to keep it from falling back at me all the time.

Pain in the butt to build. Lazy manufacturing. No thanks.

Was easy but had to follow instructions there is some parts that are a little tricky

This item is A piece of crap the connecting rods are so flimsy they dont stay together while you try to assemble it dont even think about buying it i sent it back to amazon

Excellent produit et très bonne qualité.

Assembly of the Snow Thrower Cab takes less than an hour. But once I installed the Cab on my Blower, the Cab would not stay upright, no matter how much I tightened the clamps. I had to drill and modify the cross-bars. On the positive side, once installed, the Cab can be easily removed or re-attached from the Blower.
