Been enjoying these over the decades.

I like the ones you find in the Asian groceries, but they're always of dubious quality - I'm often disappointed at opening them up and finding them to be stale.These are pretty much guaranteed fresh and crunchy. However, there's a little more sugar binder/filler than the Asian ones than I'd like - I'm all about the peanuts. It's not a whole lot more but it's noticeable if you grew up on the latter.Until the quality control is upped on the Asian versions, I'm stuck on these.

I bought this product because I have fond memories of times when you could buy these in almost any coin operated vending machine. The box arrived intact. When opened, I found almost all of the bars broken. They were securely sealed in their foil packages, and tasted fresh. It's just a shame they were broken. It's funny, I used to buy these out of a machine that dropped them two feet into a delivery tray, and those arrived unbroken.If this is the only way you can find this product, it's better than doing without it.

They don't seem to stock there locally anymore. I have always liked this peanut bar for its flavor. However, it does not travel well as the binder is not very binding and many were broken, even shattered. If you require the peanut bar to be intact, I would venture that the Munch bar would hold up to shipping better. It is very firmly made, and, as a result, may be tough for people with bad teeth to eat.

Fresh and delicious as I remember them from long ago- -I will eat these sparingly but will still finish long before the expiration date.They are often difficult to find but I usually buy one on my way to the Opera at a nearby newsstand and pay $2.00 plus tax for one so these are a real bargain. They are not messy, satisfying and not totally unhealthy. Buy them - you'll love them and save a lot of money too.They arrived on time, and were not broken. I like this smaller size as it is fewer calories than the larger bar so there is no guilt.

What can I say? I know these reviews need to have X amount of characters??? I'm trying to eat them up!!! Lol.. They arrived on time. The packages were for the most part in one or two pieces. Don't expect them to be completely in one piece. I don't think it is possible. These are great. These are my go to bar when I go on long bike rides. I am not into the power bars. These are great. They are mostly Peanuts with just enough brittle to keep them together. So I don't feel guilty after eating one.

Fresh, tasty, BUT one star removed for the lousy handling: Everyone of the bars was broken into more than just a few pieces. If it means something to you to have the product arrive basically intact - skip this avenue of acquisition despite the marginal savings in price over the supermarket or large-lot Warehouse.

I love these, but be sure and eat them somewhere where you don't mind a few crumbs. I found that if I broke them up into pieces while they were still inside the package, it was easier to eat than trying to bite them off after taking the bar out of the package.
