PLAYMOBIL 9145 Excavator Building Set

Got this Playmobil Sand Excavator for my two year old about two months ago, very age appropriate. It has made a few trips to the beach, been in salt water and normally sits in the sand box in the backyard exposed to the elements and still looks new. Very sturdy and perfectly sized for little hands. I learned from experience with my first son not to buy expensive sandbox trucks which will not last long and the plastic becomes brittle after a few short months exposed to the sun, (even though the company claims that they're tough). I recommend this toy for the toddler age group because they're durable, lightweight and affordable. By the time your little one outgrows it you will have gotten your money's worth. I also purchased the Dump Truck which comes in red. Both come with a figurine. I only wish that Playmobil would come out with other options before my son outgrows them.

Wow this is incredibly well made. My 3.5 year old son got this for Christmas (from me) and he loves it. I love the quality. We didn’t have any Playmobil toys until very recently and I feel like we’ve been missing out! They are exceptionally well made, and I love their simplicity—the toddler versions don’t sing songs or make noise or light up and I love it. They are much sturdier than Fisher Price. Though Fisher Price Little People are quite sturdy, the quality of these Playmobil sets are at a higher standard. Really happy this.

We took this to the beach, and everyone enjoyed playing with it! The scoop was the better than a large shovel we brought to dig in the sand. So easy to wash off too. I'm pretty sure it will last forever.

These are great quality trucks especially for the price and my son loves that the shovel comes out.

My kids absolutely love these. They are much larger than I expected which was a nice surprise. They are a really great gift for toddlers.

We brought this to beach. Kids fight for this toy. Well-made and looks cute.
