This is our FAVORITE coffee. Smooth taste and never gives you that "coffee gut" feeling. I make it ahead of time to cool so I can enjoy an iced coffee at home. It's the BEST!!

It's good coffee, but I like the AK a bit better. This one can get a little harsh after sitting in the pot for a while. AK doesn't seem to do that. If you're wanting to drink a full pot in a short period of time this is a great choice. Full bodied and tasty (you can tell I'm an expert - right - LOL!).

Black Rifle Coffee Just Black hits a nice middle ground. It’s a medium roast made with Colombian and Brazilian Arabica beans, so you get actual coffee flavor without feeling like somebody tossed a charcoal briquette into your mug and called it “bold.” There’s a cocoa-and-vanilla smell, plus milk chocolate and toasted walnut flavors. I’m not going to pretend my tongue wears a monocle and can identify every individual flavor molecule, but it’s smooth, flavorful, and doesn’t have that bitter finish that makes your face fold up like a lawn chair. The 18 ounce bag comes already ground, which I appreciate because grinding coffee at 6:30 in the morning sounds about as enjoyable as assembling IKEA furniture during an earthquake. Just scoop it into whatever brewing contraption you’ve pledged allegiance to, drip machine, French press, AeroPress, pour over, or cold brew maker. It works well black, but adding cream and sugar doesn’t make the coffee disappear underneath like a hamster buried in a snowbank. The flavor still hangs around. The bag is foil lined and sealed to help keep everything fresh, and there’s enough coffee in here for a while. One morning I stumbled into the kitchen with approximately three working brain cells, dumped some Just Black into the regular drip machine, and wandered away. A few minutes later the house smelled great and I had a smooth cup of coffee that tasted like somebody competent had made it. That somebody was technically me, but the coffee deserves most of the credit. Black Rifle Coffee Company was also founded by Green Beret veteran Evan Hafer, roasts its coffee in the USA, and supports veterans, active-duty military, law enforcement, and first responders through various programs. That’s a nice bonus, but thankfully the coffee itself can stand on its own without needing the company story to carry it around like a toddler at the zoo. Just Black is simply a good everyday medium roast, smooth, easy to brew, not painfully bitter, and strong enough to convince my brain that the day has officially started.
