Solid smartwatch!
This is an excellent fitness focused smartwatch with great battery life that easily lasts days. The health and activity tracking features are accurate and reliable, and it connects seamlessly to my iphone. I also like that the design is sleek and stylish, so while it’s built for workouts, it doesn’t look out of place at work...solid smartwatch overall!

Big face on watch = better readability; Looks better for a male wrist; Bright display.
Big face on watch = better readability; Looks better for a male wrist; Bright display. ___I ordered this for my spouse, as the one he currently wears has a tiny face, and is hard to read (old model). ___The legibility of this face is much better for him--that comes from the size of the screen and a little bit from the brightness of the display. ___None of the smart watches are really tracking your steps--they are really tracking your distance and making a guess based on what they know about you based on what you tell them in the app/watch setup, so to be more accurate, you need to give them your particulars. However, never expect a perfect match on steps (lag time, tiny steps vs giant steps, all affect the accuracy)., ___For tracking heart info, you get more accurate readings, since it is really measuring YOU--your body, your beats, etcetera. How you use that info is up to you. Whether you need all the functions this particular smart watch comes with is up to you. Most folks just want steps, and general heart resting information. This provides all that functionality and more, ___You can choose various display options, so the face appearance is up to you. ___This connects with Android, and set-up is easy. ___My concern is with the watch face: It is a big face, and hands are, well, active. I am concerned that this could be damaged by a real whack of the wrist into a hard object: There are no hard outer case/rim and I think force could more readily harm this. On the other hand, they have come so far in screen technology, that I may be "borrowing trouble". If you are a guy that is in construction and likely to really whack this screen into something, then maybe a large screen should be avoided and you should look for a smaller screen and use the app for info rather than the watch. If you are involved in more of an office situation, you are probably golden. ___The simple black color is classic, and the hole pattern in the band is attractive and allows for a more breathable band. ___DO check the proportions, especially if you have a more delicate build--see if the size would be okay on your wrist. I would cut out a piece of paper to the face dimensions listed and see what it looks like against your wrist. The screen size is a plus for readability, and a challenge for dominating your wrist. You do you..

Surprisingly Premium, but Misses a Few Steps
I want to preface this by saying that I am far from an athlete or fitness junkie. In fact, my primary motivation for checking this out is due to a health issue that affects my legs. Because of this, I have to try and stay off my feet as much as possible. Of course, that makes it hard to keep yourself in shape—or, at least in my case, not get any more out of shape. My hope was that this would help me get enough movement and exercise throughout the day without overdoing it. I bring this up because I’m obviously neither the target audience nor the most capable of putting this watch through its paces. That said, I did my best to be as thorough as I could. Unfortunately, my experience with the watch hasn’t been everything I’d hoped it would be, but I do feel confident saying that it should prove to be a very good option for most people. Let me start by saying the build quality, aesthetics, screen, battery life, and fit of the watch are all spectacular. I’ve had both Apple and Samsung watches in the past, and while this one may be missing a few flagship-level features, it definitely matches them in style and build. Reebok nailed it with the AMOLED screen, and even the band feels great. The software, while not quite as refined as the aforementioned flagships, feels robust and intuitive. The watch was easy to set up, connected seamlessly to my iPhone, and maintains that connection perfectly. Standout features for me were the sleep tracker, heart rate monitor, and blood oxygen sensor—all of which recorded consistently and (seemingly) accurately. The stress tracking feature was also fairly interesting, and I can definitely see how it would be useful for anyone dealing with stress or anxiety. Some features that didn’t land quite as well were tied to notifications, messaging, and phone calls via the watch. These features, while appreciated, quickly reminded me that this is a lower-cost alternative to the flagships. Something I’ve had an issue with in earlier smartwatches—and the reason I stopped using my Apple and Samsung watches—is wrist pain and skin irritation, which I can only assume is caused by the sensors monitoring my heart rate, SpO2, sleep, etc. It’s always located directly under the sensors. I’d hoped this had been resolved over the years, but it seems that isn’t quite the case. Fortunately, this doesn’t seem to be a common issue for most people. Another issue that likely won’t affect most users: I noticed the step counter was wildly inconsistent for me. I believe the issue is due to a combination of pace and location, but I’m not 100% certain. Because of the leg issue I mentioned, there are times when I move around at a sluggish pace, and that’s when the watch often fails to register my steps. When I’m feeling better or moving with more purpose, it doesn’t seem to miss a beat. The problem is also more prevalent where I work, likely due to poor cell/Wi-Fi/GPS coverage. It’s kind of a dead zone, and I’m guessing that doesn’t help. All in all, I like the watch quite a bit and think it’s a great option for anyone looking for a capable smartwatch on a budget. Reebok has done a lot of things right here, and they should be proud of it. My only hesitation would be for anyone dealing with health issues like mine—or perhaps for older folks who don’t move around as quickly as they used to. For everyone else, the Icon should absolutely be on your radar.

Solid value if you don’t need a high-end Garmin
I’ve been a Garmin user for years and I’m currently using an Epix Pro Gen 2, so that’s my reference point. This obviously isn’t trying to be a $1,000 watch, but it has a lot going for it considering the price. The screen looks great, battery life has been really good, and it’s comfortable enough to wear all day without thinking about it. Tracking for steps, heart rate, and sleep has seemed accurate in normal use. It covers the basics well without feeling laggy or cheap. Tons of features, super easy to read and use in full daylight, and looks great. You do have to use the Reebok app ecosystem, which is fine as long as you’re not already locked into something else. If you’re coming in fresh or just want a capable fitness watch without spending a ton, this is a really good bang for the buck.

I ditched my fitbit for this
This watch is great. I love the size of the OLED screen. My old fitness watch had such a small screen that made reading information on it kind of a pain. But this screen is very large. Notifications are easy to read as are all the programs that come included with this watch. Speaking of programs that are included.. I really like the breathing exercise app. If I become stressed, I will start a minute long breathing exercise from the watch and it honestly helps me level myself out after doing it. It's a nice quality watch. I've only been wearing it a few days but I've been asked many times "what kind of watch is that?" The color of the band is very nice. Black with blue trim. The material they used for the band is great. I'm allergic to most of the rubbery feeling bands that come with smartwatches but this one is the first that doesn't cause my skin to become red and itchy. And the dial on the side has such a pleasing click when you rotate it. It allows you to scroll through selections with ease if you don't want to swipe with your finger. Overall, I consider this watch an excellent value for the money and I highly recommend it.

Large Bright Screen and Great Battery Life
This is a review of the Reebok Icon Smartwatch worn for two weeks. I really love the screen size and bright display on this watch! It is very easy to read and see quickly and works great with the Reebok Connect App on an Android phone. The watch part itself measured about 1 1/2" across and about 1 7/8" long, so pretty large. If you have a small wrist like me, it does look a bit large. The band feels very nice to wear and I like the holes for ventilation. There were no issues with skin irritation. Compared to another new option, the Reebok Pulse, it has a larger screen and does not have the metal housing around the watch face that helps with durability. You get five preloaded watch faces, and LOTS more great options for free on the app! I love that feature! The touchscreen can be pressed and then swiped to the side to access the preloaded ones right on the watch to switch to make your watch look like you want. This watch has been worn for over two weeks now and has an awesome battery life without being overly heavy. Very comfortable and good looking. The step counting is not always entirely accurate I feel, but good enough for me. I have worn about six different smartwatches by different makers, and they all seem to be different. I've even worn two at once and gotten quite different counts on them both if you wear them all day. It seems that when you are moving and arms moving as for exercise or deliberate counting for a shorter distance, they all seem to do better, but for all day movement, there are variations. It connected easily to the phone and messages, phone calls and texts seem to come through. Did have an issue trying to get the contacts on this watch, although allowing permissions for this through the app. I can see my call logs. This seems to not be entirely accurate for the heart rate, as compared to an arm band that reads very accurately; other smartwatches are similar from my experience, with some being a bit closer than others. I think it can't quickly keep up with more rapid heart rate changes. I did not see any recordings of heart rate variability or resting heart rate on the app so if you are looking for certain features like this, read over the product description carefully. The GPS was able to track my run and display that on the app with some other helpful info about heart rate zones and such. Calorie counting is displayed with what seems to be exercise and activity above the base rate, so it is a bit confusing if you are expecting to see a number like maybe 1800-2000 at the end of the day and you see a much smaller number. It did a good job of tracking sleep and even picked up naps. The app shows under Rest your levels of REM, deep, light, and awake times and allows for goal setting with this and other areas. It is fairly simple to figure out how to navigate this but could be improved if instructions were accessible. I do like that I was able to figure out options to customize different areas like which training modes were available to add to my list on my watch. This is a solid option that I think will please most people IF selected with care according to features that are available. Different people will have different needs, and this is a good basic choice which has a very pleasingly readable, bright screen with lots of face options, battery life and functionality. Great deal for the price.

Excellent smartwatch, pairs with iPhone
This is an excellent smartwatch! It paired easily with my iPhone 15, delivers call, text and app notifications, and allows me to make/take calls via Bluetooth. I did some digging and found it has an IP68 rating guaranteeing dust and “significant water protection” vs iWatch’s IP6X rating which does not specify the water resistance rating. An IP68 rating can withstand complete submersion in water beyond 1 meter, but I don’t see the depth and time specified by Reebok so I’m not going to risk it. The Icon does not offer WiFi, GPS or cellular connectivity and the health sensors are more basic. But, for the price and what it does offer, I am not missing any features! Here are the features from Reebok’s website, some of which I didn’t see in the Amazon listing: Edge-to-edge display 10-day battery life + rapid-charge boost 24/7 vitals & continuous heart-rate tracking 80+ sport modes tuned for diverse activities Advanced sleep tracking with actionable insights Bluetooth calling and real-time smart notifications Native Google Fit, Apple Health Kit & Strava integration On-wrist weather updates and voice prompts Customizable watch faces through Reebok Connect app Durable zinc alloy case paired with a breathable silicone strap IP68 water/dust-resistance Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity; compatible with Android 9.0+ & iOS 15.6+
