Ok so the price of it here is really where my main criticism is going to come from. If you have Costco or similar that distributes it in your neighborhood you can save some money getting it there instead. That being said. I'm reviewing this as I compared it the Sioux city sasparilla and the Jones soda company root beer. This is not a relable or the Jones soda rootbeer. It is actually a sasparilla which I honestly was not expecting. The two taste different. As for how it stands up to Sioux city. I would say it is much lighter on the herbal flavours that a traditional sasparilla while still being present. The price makes it hard to buy frequently but I'll definitely keep a few in my fridge. Also occasionally there are star caps too which I thought was a nice touch. This pack also comes with a cheap magnetic twist top bottle opener. Honestly not terribly impressed with that. Simply put. For a fallout novelty beverage product. It tastes surprisingly well. Even did a blind taste to make sure i wasn't being crazy. If you enjoy rootbeer and you are a fallout fan. I think you or someone you know will appreciate this alot.

Originally, I bought two four packs because I am a Fallout fan and figured, "Why not?" The first sip was enough that, upon opening the last bottle and not having gotten a blue star cap (again, Fallout fan), I decided to go ahead and order another 12 pack. I'm not much of a soda drinker, in general, so I'm hoping I end up with a blue star cap in this batch... it's supposedly 1 in 12. But, I digress... The flavor is great. Rich, creamy, although it does NOT contain sarsaparilla root nor sassafras as both were banned by the FDA for being carcinogens (personally, that's all the more reason TO use them as it would make the beverage more Fallout authentic.) Regardless, it's good stuff in my book. My only complaint, and this has NOTHING to do with Jones Soda nor the company that shipped my order... DON'T USE THE USPS. My order left the shippers facility in Utah on the 13th of December, ended up going to North Carolina, finally arrived at the hub about 30 miles from me in North Dakota on the 23rd...only to end up going 80 miles north before finally going BACK to the hub 30 miles away from me and finally being delivered on the 30th of December. So, it was delivered about a week later than it should have been because the USPS decided to give my order a scenic tour. I'd recommend to the shipper to find another company to deal with, because USPS sucks. Thankfully, none of the bottles had exploded.

Insanely overpriced. Realized it was available locally for a fraction of the cost on here, so won't be re-ordering. Fun drink though, kids love it. Beverage itself is fine.

I’m glad Jones decided to sell Fallout themed drinks. It’s a bit too sweet and has way too much vanilla for my liking but my girlfriend enjoyed it.
