It does last much longer, but it may need some mechanical "pushing" to plug in
I have several Makita tools that use the LXT battery configuration, but I really wanted to get some batteries with much longer runtime. This Waitley 9AH battery does just that. I knew already that the 4AH Makita battery will give slightly over 4 hours of use with my portable Makita fan, so the fan made a good test bed. It ran for nearly 10 hours, which confirms the 9AH rating. The only problem that I have experienced was that the plastic tabs on the battery do not align well with my Makita single charger, and required a forceful sideways push to get plugged in. But it does plug in and charges fine, but causes my charger to cycle a few times at the end to complete (charger issue). I am going to get the Makita 2 battery blower now since this battery will give it decent runtime. Very happy to find this!

I recommend them
I love these batteries I am a ironworker and when we sheet the metal buildings we use self tapping screws to screw R panel to the buildings. I can use one battery all day on my Makita brushless impact. and everybody else with their name brand impact drills cannot last without swapping batteries on there impacts it's save a lot of time not having to go and swop batteries out on your charger in the middle off you work day!!!!!!

A much needed upgrade for Makita tools.
So far, so good. The battery arrived and charged well. It is a little harder to connect to tools and the charger.Battery life is definitely better than the 4.0ah batteries I have now. I used it on a high drain tool (5" cordless grinder) and I got tired before the battery died. Normally, I'm disappointed when using the grinder due to how fast it kills batteries, not with this battery though.

You won't regret it
Works perfectly with my Makita tools. And it lasts a long long time on a single charge. I'm laughing at my coworkers for buying name brand Makita and Milwaukee batteries for over double the price...these batteries actually feel better quality than Makita too..aside from the push tab. Not by much

These use real 3000mah 18650's! these are legit
Tested in my lXML02Z lawn mower dual 18v (36v) let in run in place, it ran over 50min with a 2.2lb Oregon mulching blade, would run well over a hour if tested with with with the .8lb stock blade. I looked at the 18650's inside the printed numbers didnt pull up a manufacture, these may be off brand 18650's but they definitely are 3000mah each, giving you a total of 9000mah , I tested cheaper 9.0ah of ebay are not 3000mah 18650's they are maybe 2200 - 2400mah.

Great deal!
Less than half the price than any factory replacement battery. No issues at all, and some cool features like the USB plug that you can use to recharge your phone or something. Very satisfied.
