Came with a slight mildew odor but was gone after a few days of being aired out. The quality seems to be good, especially for the price.UPDATE: I had originally really liked this rug, however, after a few weeks of use it looks extremely worn down.

Rug is falling apart in one area see pics just opened to install in an office and it is totally damaged.

Affordable 7 .5 x .9.5 rug ..measure first. Better price here than Overstock.I read up on this rug it's exactly as expected. Recycled Jean's with natural jute. In a striped braid pattern that's zig zag stitched together. Unique and natural is my description. Laid almost perfect flat..still working on one edge. I wondered if it would be scratchy? It's a mix bag of softness and jute. Easy on feet.All though it's a bit uneven here and there due to varying denim used..I love the look. Its 2 sided for wear...my dog curled right up on it! If you like vintage , shabby, rustic, coastal ??..you will like this. If you are a perfectionist..keep searching! I don't see where t add photos..bummer.

I love this rug. It’s unique, comfy, nicely made and more. It’s held up well in my sunroom for about a month now with kids and dogs. I don’t vacuum it, instead just sweep it off and I am a little worried for when there might be something to clean up on it such as spilled drinks, but the darker colors will help hide any reminants if that happens. One of the corners was a little less “finished” than the others, but it’s not a big deal. With so many variations of blue and tan it was also easy to match accent pieces to it.

I love this rug!! Absolutely beautiful. The rug is braided with natural fibers and Jean material. Some of the fibers are lifted up after walking on it. But that happens in natural fibers. Beware not to vacuum this rug with a vacuum that has a moving roller. It can unravel the braided natural fibers.

I bought this as decoration that I knew my cats would scratch. They love it, and now they prefer scratching the rug over scratching my furniture. I like the way the rug looks and it feels like good quality. I think the denim makes it a little more durable for the cats because I haven't noticed any fraying.

Although this is a pretty rug it is not like rag rugs of the past. It is thin, does not hold the circular edge because it is stretchy. I doubt it will hold up well. It would be okay in a low traffic area but has far too much movement from being stretchy and no tacky back.

purchased on amazon (less expensive than overstock) and received in 3 days. perfect, i had a sisal/jute rug which had to be replaced asap due to dog accident ( sorry). best 200 spent, i have vacuumed on low and its fine! jute rugs do not last forever and if you are buying one you already know that. i love the coastal vibe they have and are perfect for a busy family with dogs who are going to have to replace rugs anyways due to some sort of accident. color is great, denim pops. rug did not have an odor as was mentioned in previous reviews. if you are looking for an inexpensive decor change up that is stylish and functional then this is it.

I ordered the 8' length and what arrived was barely 6' long, I'm very disappointed. Additionally, these rugs smell terrible, I had to spray them with disinfectant several times and leave them outside for 24 hours before I could bring them in... they also fall apart very easily and the jute sheds, I don't expect they will last much longer. I would have returned them had I known how disappointed I would be overall but it's too late now.

I'm really saddened to have to write this poor review. I was really excited to get this carpet, but I am very disappointed by it. It came damaged, with holes through the jute which are irreparable. It's like torn rope, not fixable at all! Also, where the jute and blue-jean are sewn together is really loose ad poorly done. I was so upset because I didn't discover the damage until after 30 days (The rug stayed wrapped until my space was available to put the carpet down) so now I cannot even get a refund or exchange. This makes me question whether or not I would spend this kind of money on an amazon purchase ever again. Nope. Although this carpet would be really attractive, I would never order something like this again, because if it is damaged before I even put it on the floor, then for sure it would not stand up to foot traffic.

Love this area rug! Much better in three D than on photos. Soft, durable cotton, flat weave so covers more surface area and the table doesn't tilt, easy to clean, colours are actually nicer than on photo. Shipped in perfect condition and received two weeks earlier than predicted.

I bought one rug for my back entrance, and after it came I bought two more, one for my front entrance and one for in front of my kitchen sink. I have vinyl plank flooring and was looking for a natural fibre rug and liked the denim jute mix on these rugs. They do slip a little but not so that it is bothersome. I like the fact that they came in an 8 foot length, and the width is perfect for the spots that I have placed them. They don't show dirt and I have vacuumed them, if you don't like the rustic look, don't buy them, but I do and they fit well in my house.

I just received this rug and I returned it right away. It is very poorly made. It was frayed in multiple locations and terrible material. The denim was not braided evenly. Would not recommend!
