Installation: 1 (easy) - 5 (hard):- I would rate it a 2 if your fixture mounts are the same size.- If the fixture mounts are a different size, you can purchase an adapter from Amazon.- The metal bracket that holds the ceiling cover did not have holes pre-drilled. I had to drill and tap two new holes.- If you can use a screw driver and know how to turn off power this is a breeze to install.Pros:- Customer service was fast and responsive. One part was broken and they sent it out right away!- Quiet fan on all settings.- Bright LED's with 3 different temperatures.- Remote.- Design.Cons:- Beeping sound when pressing any button, would be nice if you can disable it.- Does not remember last setting.I would purchase again just based on customer service alone.

We wanted to have a fan above our dining room table but not a traditional ceiling fan. We found this and it was the best of all worlds. The fan tucks away nicely and is hidden. The fan has 3 speeds and is very quiet. We are very pleased. We had the fan just over a year and the soft white lights went out. Even though we were outside the warranty period the company was very helpful in getting us a new LED light bar. I would recommend this if you are looking for something more stylish but still functional.

I recently installed the Fandian 42-inch Modern Ceiling Light with Fans Remote Control Retractable Blades and encountered significant difficulties. While the light seemed functional, the installation process was far from smooth. Here's a breakdown of the issues I faced:Incompatible Mounting Bracket: The included mount bracket didn't match the standard electrical box in my home (US). Following other reviewers' suggestions, I had to drill new holes to make it fit. This is a frustrating and unexpected step, especially for a product aimed at the US market.Inoperable Remote Control: The remote control box wouldn't fit properly, rendering the fan function unusable with the remote. The instructions offered no solution for this problem, and I'm currently stuck without a way to quickly turn the fan on or off.Incomplete Cover: The cover for the mount bracket is too deep to attach to the screws. This creates an unfinished look and exposes parts that should ideally be hidden for safety reasons.Overall, this Fandian model caused a lot of unnecessary hassle during installation. It seems the included mounting hardware may not be compatible with standard US electrical installations. If you're looking for a new ceiling fan, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you're located in the United States.Big Regret: In hindsight, I wish I'd installed this sooner. If I had, I would have been able to return it due to the incompatibility issues.

Very pleased! Function is great cools off the kitchen and light is nice even without fan on. We love it!

This is an awesome fan that works great and really moves some air, and it puts out great lighting with three levels of brightness. Installation was easy even though the instructions it came with are pretty useless, But the installation video on the sales page is very useful. Overall I'm very happy with this fan and it looks great but I gave it four stars because there are no wire nuts included for the wiring so make sure you have some on hand before installing. Another thing to mention is the mounting holes in the bracket are not made for mounting to a electrical box so you will need to drill two holes in the bracket or modify the slots if you want to mount it to a box that already exists in the ceiling...Not hard at all but worth mentioning. Other than those things this is an awesome fan to have and is worth the money. Like I said above the install is very easy if you take the time to view the video on the sales page, and yes it really installs that easy...Don't let the negative install reviews steer you away from this fan.

I bought this Fandian 42Inch Modern Ceiling Light with Fan in December of last year. I was and I am very impressed with the product's simple yet very modern look. I bought it for my home office. Three different lights certainly set the right mood for the work; fan is very quiet and cools the room rather quickly.What makes this product even better is the Fandian's customer service. A little over six months into the use and the white LED light gave in. I connected with Fandian team via Amazon and got their response within a matter of hours. Their communication was very courteous and professional, they helped me understand the problem, recommended a couple of solutions and when none of them were effective, they promptly sent me a replacement light kit. I am quite impressed to see how in a short amount of time my issue got resolved, i.e. within 4 days of raising my concern to receiving the new light kit.I would certainly recommend this product and Fandian to my friends and anyone who is in the market to upgrade their light/Fans to a classy product.

I purchased 2 of these fans. They were installed by a professional electrician. It required about one hour for each fan to be installed. PROS: whisper quiet (even on high), looks beautiful, moves a lot of air on high, easy to use remote. CONS: one fan could not be tightened completely so it wobbles slightly on high speed, also the same fan did not come with two magnets to attach the transmitter/receiver thingie so it had to be taped (the tape continues to come loose), the brightness of both light settings is extremely bright (not comfortable for relaxing). SUMMARY: these fans best out all others that I looked at for their pure aesthetics. I purchased these more for the functionality of the fan than for a usable light. I will try to insert a piece of plexiglass or possibly thin fabric in the plastic cover to the light to soften the light. The quiet operation of this fan is incredible.
