Able Heat Lid for Chemex - USA Made (White)

This product is a great idea and looks clean and seems like it won’t get dirty from the coffee / steam, but it just doesn’t work. It’s not heavy enough to stay in and leaves gaps all around, not creating any sort of a seal. It just doesn’t do anything. The point is to keep the coffee warm for a little longer or keep dust / debris from getting in but this does not do either.Total waste of money. I wish I had tried one of the wooden ones instead!

I purchased the Drip Coffee Maker Glass Carafe with Pour Over Stainless Steel Drip Coffee Paperless Filterby Brilliant and needed a lid for the coffee pot. I looked at the Chemex wooden lids and did not care for them or the color. Then I saw this lid in white and even though it was in a flexible rubber-type material, I knew that it would not only look good with the coffee pot that I bought but it would work in my coffee pot as well in a Chemex one. It looks good and blends in much better than a wooden lid would. Love it!

This is a basic heat cap for a standard Chemex. It doesn't cover the pour-trough, and the white color gets stained by coffee pretty quickly.

Does what it's meant to do. A really simple concept but I like it better than the glass top because it provides a slightly better seal and there's no risk of it breaking if the top slides out of the Chemex while I'm pouting (I do leave it in).

Stains very easily and can not be cleaned even with bleach

I like it because it isn't glass. If it were, I would probably have chipped and/or broken it the first time I used it.
