Got the case in a short amount of time and love the sleek feel of it

As expected

After using the Commuter series cases on my Galaxy S2, S4, S7 Edge, and iPhone 6s Plus (and all of them survived plenty of nasty falls onto concrete and worse), I've decided to entrust my new Note 9 to Otterbox once again.The Note 9 glides into the case very effortlessly. With my previous phones, trying to fit the phone + soft layer with the hard layer of the case could be difficult because it was a very tight fit. But now, it's actually a lot easier to put the phone into the Otterbox. I'm not sure why that is, but rest assured that the fit is still very tight, so you don't have to worry about your Note 9 somehow flying out of your case.This case fully supports wireless charging without any issues. The USB-C and headphone ports are covered by flaps. The case is perfectly compatible with my case friendly screen protector from IQShield. The S-pen is also very easily accessible, but the accessibility may have introduced a design flaw which I'll discuss later below.The raised lips on the top and bottom edges of the front side of the case are generously sized, so you should be able to rest your phone on a table, face side down, without having to worry about getting scratches on the screen. The left and right edges of the case sit lower than the screen. It's probably a compromise Otterbox had to make since this is a curved screen phone, and I don't think it will seriously compromise the integrity of your phone.I'm taking a star off for two big reasons. The first reason is that this case is extremely slippery! It actually feels worse in the hand than the other Commuter cases I've used in the past, even though the material still appears to be the same. The back of the case is extremely smooth and provides no traction whatsoever. It will very, very easily slide out of your hand if you aren't careful, so you're definitely going to have to squeeze your phone a little bit to keep it from falling out of your hand.The second reason is that the corner with the S-pen slot seems very oddly designed. As you can see from my pictures, the front side has a very large lip, but the back side is extremely flush with the phone. I'm a little concerned that a very unlucky drop could completely ruin the corner of the phone containing the S-pen slot because it looks so exposed.Both layers of my case were made and assembled in the USA, but YMMV. Unfortunately, there are only two colors available right now for the Note 9 Commuter series cases, black or "bespoke way" (blue), but overall I am pleased with this product, and I really hope the corner with the S-pen slot will remain safe during a fall.

Fit snug and tight. Good protection all around. Hard back makes it very slippery on hard surfaces, has rubber pads on each side but they don't seem to work.

I really like this case, I haven't seen another that I think can match it.Two complaints.1. The curved screen of the note 9 isn't fully protected on the sides. The front top, and front bottom edges of the case do protrude past the screen and would strike the ground first in the event of a drop, but both front sides of the case are not protruding past the screen. There are obvious pros and cons to this. The pro is that this case makes the curved screen quite accessible and keeps the phone very easy to use. The con is that I'm not convinced that the phone is entirely protected and if it lands just right it seems like it would hit the screen directly.2. I believe that the design of the border around the edge where the stylus is housed is not the best. It's not difficult to remove or replace the stylus, but it is also a corner that seems to be exposed for a drop that lands /JUST RIGHT/, and it seems fairly clear that it could have been designed just slightly differently to prevent that.Other than that, I am happy with the case and will continue to use it.-I really like Otterbox's mix of hard shell and soft shell design, and I feel that offers a high level of protection from different types of trauma that could be caused to the device. The contouring on the back of the case near the fingerprint reader makes it very easy to use.-The covers for the buttons on the side of the phone are an improvement from not having the case. The buttons in my opinion are normally too easy to hit on mistake, and the case gives them just enough resistance to make sure that you're hitting them only intentionally, especially if you're holding your phone sideways.-Some have complained that the case is too slippery. I have by every definition 'medium' sized male hands and have not found the case to be too slick in my hand or when set down on any surface.

I really like the design, ruggedness, and durability of the Otterbox Commuter case. They're tough, but not bulky like a lot of other cases. Some people complain about them being too slick, but I've never had an issue keeping a grip on my Commuter(s). I find it surface to be a nice medium between able to hold it securely and the ability to slide it in and out of my pocket.

The slick finish is asking for trouble. This would be much better protection if it had the rubbery grip type finish. Wish I had seen that in the description.

I love my case. There is nothing I dont like about it. The most important thing to know about this case is that it does not protect the screen. The sides, the back, and the corners will be all be protected by this case. Not the front which is the screen which is the glass which is the most important and easiest part to damage. I love the case but if u buying it protect the screen please buy screen protectors with the case. The case fits the phone perfectly especially the cutouts for the pen, the speaker, the ports, the buttons, all feel very custom. Its lightweight but gives the phone more grip or texture to help keep u from dropping it. The phone without the case was so slick to me that I left the phone in it's new box and left the house without it until the case arrived. When it arrived a few days later I was ecstatic til I realized there was no screen protection. It arrived in 4 days, I put my phone in it and I took my chances and carried it with me this time while the screen protectors were on their way, but I definitely was very conscious of keeping my phone in separate pockets from my keys....

Con una Otterbox siempre siento mi teléfono bien protegido. Desafortunadamente esta funda en particular no ajusto del todo bien en la parte inferior. Además de que tuve que cortar las cubiertas de las entradas para el cargador y audífonos porque resultaba molesto estarlos quitando a cada momento.

Fits the note 9 perfectly! Cut out and buttons are spot on! Easy to take the pen out!

Excelente producto, como es de costumbre otter nos trae calidad, si, es un poco alto el precio pero la calidad es excelente, lo vale al 100%.Este modelo de case es la "Commuter"Recomiendo al 99%.

La mejor funda/case para el Note 9 que es compatible con casi cualquier mica. Siempre y cuando se compre en precio de descuento pero si eso no es impedimento para tí, vale la pena
