Okra Seed, Perkins Long Pod, Heirloom, Non GMO, 25+ Seeds, Okra Seeds

I've ordered so many seeds off Amazon. Some with so-so results, others, not a single sprout germinated. These okra seeds sprouted up quickly with strong stalks. They grew tall rapidly with healthy green leaves and lovely yellow flowers. The pests have left them alone also. Very very pleased.

OK ...I got this too late to plant , I will plant some this year and see. BUT it looks good , the seeds are nice looking and look like good okra seed should . I have grown this variety before and it is a real nice okra tastes great.

Overall, not a bad okra seed. I sprouted them in small planters before transplanting into the garden. I put 2 seeds per planter. I would estimate about 75 percent of them sprouted, which really isn't that bad. The ones that did sprout have flourished.

Nothing grow from any of the seeds I received

fairly expensive for the seeds and yet the crop was not as good as I was expecting. I will purchase seeds from our local stores.

So far so good.I tried directly sowing outdoor (average temp >20C) and indoor germination, both works with high germination rate.indoor germinated seedlings grow much faster after moving to outdoor than the outdoor directly sowed ones.

It is October here in Arkansas and I am still enjoying the okra. What I like love the most is how hardy these plants have been. I haven't used pesticides or even fertilizer and they are towering over me. The flowers welcome me in the morning and I watch them turn yellow in the evening. The flavor is great too.
