Fantastic Pen for OneNote on my Surface Pro 6 - Inexpensive, Reliable, Responsive, Comfortable
LOVE this stylus! In January I purchased a Surface Pro 6 for grad school and a large reason I wanted it was because I love OneNote. However, OneNote is not very helpful if you don't invest in a good stylus to make writing easier and more fluid. The new Surface Pen is $100, and I really did not want to pay that much after spending $800 on my surface pro and keyboard. So I tried this Bamboo Ink Stylus out.It. Is. Perfect. The smooth overlay and triangular pen shape make it very comfortable to hold. The two buttons which allow you to select text or erase are incredible. Because of their location being near where I grip the pen, I can erase and select almost instantaneously without having to change my grip or click to switch to eraser or select mode of my surface pro. It's awesome. As a student who needed a stylus almost solely for notetaking, there is no reason anyone should buy a surface pen or a pricier stylus. I bought my stylus for $26 used in very good condition from Amazon and it has been all I hoped for and more.I would like to say one more thing to potential buyers. If you only want a stylus for notetaking, this stylus is perfect. However, if you need a pen suitable for design work or that has great Windows Ink capabilities, I cannot attest to its performance in that regard. I have heard this stylus is not as capable in some design applications, so dig deeper if that's what you want this stylus to do. The only other thing I'd say is the battery seems to last a little shorter than I had hoped. The pen takes 4A batteries. Not 3A. A little odd, but it keeps the stylus thin and small. That said, I typically change the battery every 6 weeks, but that is also because I use my stylus daily for relatively long periods of time.Hope the Bamboo Ink suits you as it has me!

Great Value, lowest price for wacom bamboo smart, and a good seller
I received a broken pen at first, i got mad at the seller and contacted amazon immediately without communicating with the seller and i was tempted to leave a bad review, influenced by some of the other bad reviews for the product . AND I ADMIT that I WAS WRONG. the seller contacted me back and he was such a nice guy that really cared about his Business and his customers . He did send me a new replacement pen and it was brand new (not refurbished whatsoever) and i am really satisfied with the product. This bamboo pen is one of the best pens out there to use with a windows N trig/ Microsoft pen protocol laptop, because its the only pen that functioned right for inking and note taking. The newer bamboo ink plus (the top of the line bamboo) and microsoft pen did not function right with my HP x360 10th gen, because you can't adjust the sensitivity. i found out that only surface products can adjust sensitivity, because surface products has a special surface app made to adjust sensitivity. if you try to install the surface app it will detect whether you have a surface device or not, if you don't, then it will not work and you wont be able to use the pen right.

Works well but expensive
The media could not be loaded. This is my second Bamboo purchase. Now, I have 3 different style of Active/Capacitive Stylus for my HP Envy x360 15-1xx series1. Refurbished Wacom Bamboo2. Capacitive Stylus3. Certified Surface PenThis review is for Bamboo Pen but I will provide the overall comparison with the others, you can see my other reviews under the other 2 products reviewMy husband bought me the Bamboo pen a while back, it is a pricey pen and I lost it during our road trip.So he bought me this as a replacement and this time is a the refurbished one LOLThen I lost it again but this time I lost it at home. Fortunately this one showed up, unfortunately it showed up after I bought the stylus and the surface pen.I really love it when I first get it. It helps me with my art & craft and digital drawing.Several things bother me tho and I cannot find out the solutions to fix it eventho it supposed to work.I tried to set the button to other function but it doesn’t work and does not have much option that useful for my needs.I wish this has the tilt function but I am using my laptop more for art&craft and drawing so it does not/has not bother me yet.Sensitivity and accuracy can be an issue once a while, it glitches. And there’s some lag as well when somehow the communication is disrupted.I do like the shortcut on the top of the Bamboo pen than allow me to open Ink. I wish I can adjust it to open other app. I read that I should be able to but so far I have not been able to do so.The Bamboo comes with 3 different hardiness tips, the one on the Certified Surface Pen comes with 2 tips. It has plus and minus on both but they are both are preferences than functionality. The softer tip is nicer to write in my opinion. The harder tip is easier and feel nicer to draw something more detail. I feel has more control on the harder tip.I prefer the erase function on the Cert Surface Pen since it is easier and faster to erase the drawing and writing. The Bamboo erase function works well for writing not so much for drawing compare to my other pen. They both ignore my palm touching the screen which is what it supposed to be.The stylus, can we be used to write and draw but our palm cannot touch the screen (Capacitive stylus Pen).I couldn’t find any information about my laptop if it support tilt functionality or not. I wish I bought the cert surface pen with tilt support to test it out. Maybe next timeThey all works as its expected to.But I have to give Bamboo 4 * since the price is a lot higher than the Cert Surface Pen and they both work similar.Stylus is a 5, for the stylus this is a very good quality one and works very well. The 2 tips works nicely without having to do any setting or adjustment. And it is flexible enough so my son’s and husband can use it on their regular touch screen deviceThe certified surface pen, I am giving it a 5 since the price is way cheaper than Bamboo and it works almost the same.If price is not an issue, then you should go with the pen that made specifically for your system. I go with Bamboo because the HP pen is more expensive than Bamboo. The HP pen will have better support for my laptop since it is designed for this laptop. Since the cert surface pen works as good as the Bamboo, I wish I bought that one instead of the Bamboo.Unless you are a real artist with a high end device, any of this stylus/pen will work for you.

Easy to use
I bought this for use with my ASUS Q505UA 2 in 1 laptop for the purpose of note taking. It works wonderfully. The device paired with ease and the sensitivity is perfect for notes to look just like they are hand written. I also like that it uses a battery not a rechargeable battery, but some may not like this.PROSDurableEasy to useComfortable and lightGreat sensitivityConNon rechargeable battery (I like this though)
