Wasn’t planning on buying a guitar, but couldn’t pass this up. What a great guitar! The resinator fretboard is amazing and the neck is ultra thin and fast. The option to switch to single coil tones is a nice addition. Binding, inlays and overall look is stunning. I had a Swede a while back and regret getting rid of it. Now that I have an Ultra Swede, this will stay with me for a long long time.

I've owned guitars by all the big name manufacturers; Martin, Fender, Gibson, Taylor. This guitar exceeds expectations on every count. Beautiful, amazing playability, great sound in every position. For under $500 this guitar is easily worth twice that and puts many more American made guitars for more $ to shame. I'm a Hagstrom player for life and can't wait to by my next Hag, probably a Viking.

I've had this guitar for a little over a week now. It plays great. I like the pups and the tuners are good. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful guitar. Great for any genre of music. Get one.
