I bought this thinking of would be a great resistant wrap to protect electrical wire around my engine. This is just weaved plastic and it's important to know you should cut it with heat or melt it immediately once you cut it. I cut it with scissors and it quickly started to unravel on the ends. Not a huge issue in my installation but with a more complex install it would have been a real problem. I ran my wire through then used heat shrink on the ends for a clean look and to try and keep it from unraveling more.

I was installing some auxiliary trailer wiring on a dodge ram I’m going to flat tow it behind my motorhome, I did not want to just wire tie the four tail light wires the entire length of the vehicle. I hate the spiral plastic wire loom so I decided to try this product. It was extremely easy to get the wiring through, and appears to resist high temperatures adequately.
