Excellent product!
I have to admit that this drill bit is a life saver.Trying to install a RO for my daughter but the "no hole on granite countertop" was a barrier to me. Never thought it's possible to drill the hole by myself, as a minor mistake could be very expensive. However, after some research I realized it's very doable, with the right tool and caution. So I found this wonderful diamond drill bit at a very reasonable and affordable price.Received the product in the next day, and the drilling is just like cutting into butter. I'm not a pro and is at average handy. Just follow the 4 steps instruction:1. Initialize the drill at 45 degree angle2. In couple seconds, the drill bit does the job to cut into the stone.3. Now while maintain the contact of the drill bit to the stone, slowly move the drill bit to upright position and continue the drill process4. Continue the drilling while slowly swaying the drill in a cycleI did the dry drill, and in just 4 minutes, job was done!!! And, the drill bit still looks as new after it!I did read thru those reviews with bad luck. From my experience, I believe the following tips are critical for a happy result:1. Do NOT push the drill too much. Let the drill bit, not your muscle, do the job to cut thru the stone. The weight of the grinder is enough to drive it thru.2. Do it slowly and patiently. Time is your friend for a beautiful cut. Some other helpful tips:1. Wear eye protector and hearing protector. It's loud!2. Have a 2nd pair of hand to hold the vacuum around the hole to control the dust.Lastly, thank Amazon and "Made in China" to bring such affordable products. Otherwise, will have to spend 5X more easily to get pro...Overall, highly recommended.

Like a hot knife and butter
I used to use terminator bits, which ran around $80. This was a third of the price and it worked fantastic.

Works good but drilled dust stuck inside.
I am happy with the product normally and it did its job. However, when you use it with water, dust from the drilled hole become solid and stuck inside of the item. Taking out that piece took longer than drilling. Side hole was not enough to take that solid dust part from inside. Unfortunately, I had to go to nearby store and purchase more expensive Milwaukee brand. It seems more weak but did better job.

It worked for me.
1.5 inch or 38mm bit. Took a bit of time but it went thru the brick wall pretty easily and has very little wear if any. Trick is to not push it hard, use very little pressure and rock the drill around a bit. To start, tilt the bit so you cut a small grove with one edge then tilt the bit to be face on. I also bought an adapter so I could use my cordless drill.

Worked good for one hole
It would not thread completely into a standard hole saw mandrel (2nd pic) Made it about half way and it locked down like the thread pitch was off. Put it in a vice and locked it down w a wrench. Sacrificed a mandrel for it, no biggie. Start real slow and angled till u get a groove then straighten up. Worked good and was 1/3 the price of one at Lowe’s and HD. The granite core stayed stock in bit so I either have to figure out how to beat it out or it’s a one and done bit. If I have more than one hole to do keep that in mind. Would buy it again.

Bath tub grab bar install project
Summary: Adding a few grab bars to dad's shower. I used a lot of products for this project, so including all related products in this review.Recommendation:1) When mounting grab bars, it's always easier if you can find the stud to attach to. In this vertical install, I decided to use a stud and Wing-Its anchors; partially because I wasn't sure I could hit both, and didn't want to put two fasteners vertically (on either the right or left only), but that would also position the bar in the shower a little too far in (towards the shower control).2) The WingIts requires a 3/4" hole through the mounting material. For tile, this can be especially challenging. I used the SHDIATOOL diamond 3/4" bit, with the DRILLAX adapter to get through the tile, and then used the 3/4" BOSCH bit to finish through the dry wall. Also used the BOSCH bits for the other small hole. Having the right tool for the job is the difference between project completion, and a messy, disaster.Related Products:Moen R8924P Home Care 24-Inch Concealed Screw Bath Safety Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened ~ $30Pros: Moen name, includes stainless screws.Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EI0TJ4Structural Grab Bar WingIts, PK2 ~ $14Pros: Heavy duty, highly rated.Cons: Cost ($7/anchor).Conclusion: 4-stars (cost)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004CCRJWOSHDIATOOL Diamond Core Drill Bits 3/4 Inch ~ $13Pros: Right tool for the job, looked brand new after drilling two holes (with proper technique, including cool water).Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07213KCN9Drilax Core Drill Bit Arbor Adapter ~ $15Pros: Allows SHDIATOOL bit to be used with drill (instead of angle grinder).Cons: Cost (a little expensive). Conclusion: 4-stars (cost)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0737H7CMXBOSCH GT3000 Carbide Hammer Drill Bit Set ~ $25Pros: Cuts great; carrying case.Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GNC8RS
