This socket is a well made solid item. It requires a 29mm diameter hole for mounting and a panel thickness of up to 26mm can be accomodated. The clamping nut is not HEX shaped but has tabs allowing it to be tightened by punching around a tab. The internal negative ring has indents which partly lock the plug. The only roblem is that the inline fuse-holder (fitted with an F10A fuse) on the positive lead is clamped to the wire on both sides. Meaning that to unscrew the holder the wires become twisted by three full turns. This means that when changing the fuse it is best to release the "Faston Tab" from the holder to allow the wire to rotate.

These are easy to install and are very handy for sat nav and camera makes it easy to to organise wires

Good product, works as expected and a good price. However the wire is low quality aluminium core. I ended up changing the wire to a copper core to hook up safer.

Quick delivery, as well as a very good quality product. I’ve recently installed a subwoofer in the boot of my car, where I had to wire power to the boot. So installing the product was very simple. I use it to power a compressor to blow up my inflatables. It’s troubling to have to keep going inside the car to do it, and this solves my issues. The gauge of wire is enough that you can power high nearly all socketed appliances. And the built in fuse saves you a whole lot of hassle if anything goes bad. Being waterproof is a plus, not something that I may need but is definitely useful.

Does the job?

Its a good product its slightly bigger than 25mm hole though id say its more like 27mm as had to get a file and open the hole out to make it fit. But once installed its solid and a very nice flush fit happy with the product.
