8 Inch Tall Wood Horse Manikin

Our son is finding this useful in his art. The pose-able feature is particularly helpful. The manikin is sturdy and I expect to have it around for somme time.

Great shape

I purchased this as a gift for someone. Horse manikins are very pricey, and I was happy to find this one online. The box construction is flimsy, but the figure itself is well made.

Bought this for a reference model, and even as a general reference it is poor quality. The neck has no up / down mobility, which compounds the (obvious) limitation of a solid, inflexible body. The legs are...off. I tried to approximate some of Muybridge's photographs with it and the results were very poor. It serves okayish as a general reminder, but the neck mobility is a big problem, as much of a horse's expressive body language is via the neck and head. Look elsewhere, unless you already have a very good idea of horse anatomy and how it works.
