Taurine worked a miracle
I adopted a 5 month old kitten from a shelter because no one would claim him due to his medical issues. He dragged his back legs behind him and couldn't jump or walk normally. The shelter disclosed that he had dilated cardiomyopathy and a grade 3 heart murmur and their vet suspected he had a taurine deficiency and would need supplementation which *might* reverse his heart condition....but there was no guarantee. I wanted to give him a happy, loving home and a chance at a long life so I researched taurine deficiency and discovered these tablets on Amazon. I crushed one up and added it to his wet food, twice a day and he lapped it right up. I also gave him a multivitamin (drops) because he was very underweight and his fur was very coarse. He was born of a feral mother who was no doubt malnourished and passed it on to him. Taurine deficiency can result in blindness, but fortunately his eyesight was fine and with my intervention will not be an issue. Fast forward to his 8 month checkup at the vets and she could not find any trace of a heart murmur!!! His heart sounds were totally normal. He also runs, jumps and plays like a normal, wound-up kitten with no trace of lameness and more energy than any kitten I've had. His fur is silky now and he is about normal-size for his age. He will need to be seen again at one year but my vet is amazed....especially after looking at the x-rays of his heart from when he was so sick. These tablets have worked miracles for my precious kitten and I will continue to supplement until he is 1 1/2 yrs. old, per the vet's advise. This heart condition is reversible IF caught early enough, as was his case...and only with regulated taurine supplementation. I am so grateful.

He actually ate them
I have 2 cats that have really never been given people food and do not even like soft cat food or cat treats. My one cat needs these 2 times a day because his levels are slightly low. Low levels can cause blindness (which he is going blind but they are not able to determine if genetic or taurine) but low levels can also cause cardiac problems so was told to put him on these. I got them and they are the size of a nickel. Thought NO WAY WILL HE EAT THESE. Well I put one up to his nose and he seemed interested and them I broke it into 4 pieces and he ate them up. My boyfriend and I were amazed. We were worrying how in gods name are we going to get him to eat these massive pills. Thought we'd have to break them into 4 pieces and use a pill pusher to get them down and that can be quite traumatic for a cat, especially twice a day. BUT they are very crumbly and so easy to break. Gave the other cat a piece and he ate it up too. VERY HAPPY, SURPRISED AND IMPRESSED :)

Very highly recommended.
I throw most supplements for my cat in the trash after 1 usage. However, I think that PatAg Taurine additive just saved my 15 year old cat's life. I believe that he was deficit in taurine as his diet does not include cat food which has taurine as an additive. Because he regularly vomits every cat food I have offered, I began feeding him cooked meats meant for human consumption. Taurine is destroyed during the cooking process. After 3 days of eating a crushed taurine tablet, which he eagerly eats alone, he now exhibits the energy, appetite and strength that he has not possessed in 6 months. I thought he was on the brink of death and now he is beginning to show his usual high-strung personality. I am so glad that this additive is available and that he begs to have it offered instead of having to pill him against his will. I highly recommend this item in this brand, particularly for a sickly or older cat. He now again has the high energy that he had when he was 8 years old. I'm hooked. Understand that I absolutely have no connection to the product in any way and I did not receive any form of compensation for my review. Try this if your cat is struggling.

All 5 cats love this
I break this up into my cats kibble. I have 5 cats and they all go straight to picking it out between kibble and eating it first like it's a treat. This is the first product all 5 consistently like. These are 4 cats I can't even get on the same wet or dry foods. One cat jumps on the counter, which she never does otherwise, and takes the broken pieces from the prep bowl I have when I prepping their wet food. Even my sick cat who wasn't eating ate it right away when I mixed it with treats. I give half a pill in AM and half a pill PM To each cat.

Kitties Love/Hate it
Iโve been buying this for my cats for a while now. One of them loves it and eats it like a treat. The other one (in typical cat form) used to love it until she figured out I wanted her to eat it then refused so I had to start pilling her with it. Itโs soft enough that you can break it apart with your hands you donโt have to use a knife or pill cutter or anything. I typically break it into quarters and she swallows it. There is a lot of dust residue left over when you do it that way though. Also some of the pills are always broken in the bottle. Iโm not sure about the ingredients or quality but I just bought my third bottle and my cats have never gotten sick or acted weird from taking them.

Picky cat will eat these!
I don't ever write reviews, but have to for this one. I have a very picky cat, who now loves to eat turkey babyfood. Well, you need to supplement that with taurine, so bought these vitamins. Assumed the cat would laugh at me and not eat them. But he loves them! Eats them every single time. Amazing. These vitamins are chalky-ish tablets, which I break into 4 smaller pieces (very easy to do). I thought the chalky ones wouldn't be as appealing as gummy ones, but they must have something that's appealing to cats because he loves them. He's actually eaten the vitamins but not the food in the dish with them. Definitely give them a whirl if you're on the fence.

My review after buying & using with my cat: 1. Plastic container with the tablets & after opening there is a cotton swap. If u remove the tablets will spoil. 2. Tablets are too big for cats, had to break it to feed my cat. Need to make smaller sizes for cats. 3. Even if there are too many tablets, each individual tablets should have been encased in airtight sachets for prolonged use. Its not. Once opened immediate use is necessary. For single animal household, it will be wastage.
