Perfect to encourage little walkers when the dump truck bed is locked in the upright position and the child can push the handle and walk. Your little one will also be able to sit on the seat and use it as a scooter too. The sounds made by pushing the buttons are muted, but the child has the satisfaction of "driving" this truck! With the dump truck bed down, toddlers will love to fill it - with leaves, stuffed animals, favorite blankies, etc. A really great product at a great price. Also comes in pink/purple, if so desired.

I bought the Little Tikes Easy Rider Truck as a push toy for my already-cruising 8-month-old. I looked at reviews for dozens of push toys and finally settled on this because it seems like he will get use out of it for years to come. It's too big and too lightweight for him to push on his own yet (although he will do one hand on the truck, one hand holding Mom's), but he LOVES to sit on the seat and get pushed around the house. When he's a little bigger and more confident walking, he'll be able to push the truck around, and then sit and scoot with his feet, and when he's too big for that he can just use it as a really big toy truck.The buttons are big and stiff, but he quickly discovered that he can get them to work by slamming with his palm. The sound is great - not too loud or too long. It is a lightweight plastic toy, and the wheels don't really roll so much as glide over the floor, but really, that makes it much easier for me to steer when I'm pushing from behind, so I'm perfectly satisfied. It was a massive pain to assemble - moreso than the usual for these sorts of toys - because some of the screws need to be placed into little recesses, making them hard to line up.

Great toy! My grandchildren (1yr and 4 yr olds) love this truck. It’s extremely sturdy and very easy to ride. It moves very nicely across our wood and tile floors.

My mom bought this for my nephew, who was just learning to walk at the time. He absolutely loves this truck! He pushes it everywhere around the house, collecting things from around the house to put in the back of his truck. If we're missing one side of our shoe, we know where to look;)This really helped him to gain the familiarity and courage to walk on his own. Even now as he walks and runs on his own, he still loves pushing this truck around. I have a 15 month old. She only uses it as a ride-on, not as a wagon or as a dump truck, but it is pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that most of the weight is on the middle wheels, and the front does not turn smoothly.

I wasn’t sure if this would be age appropriate based on the pictures, but I figured it should be. I was right. Our crazy 2yo son loves this thing. It almost like hovers on hard floors so it’s extremely easy to drive and control for a toddler. Our son ZOOMS around the kitchen table so fast, he LOVES it and has for the 9mo he’s had it. This is definitely appropriate for a toddler of at least 2yo. Don’t hesitate. He’ll love it! Highly recommend.

We had one of these trucks for years and loved it for our grandkids. The handle did break off and I ordered another. It came partially assembled incorrectly and I'm not sure I can fix it. As per picture, the steering column was not assembled through the front wheels. I hope I can remove wheels without breaking them so I can fix the issue. Purchased from Amazon so not sure why it was partially assembled incorrectly. Will be contacting Amazon.

my boy love to ride on this truck, love to honk or play the sound effect on it, though it's just noise for adults, but he likes it. he play with the dump sometimes too. because we didn't install the two red dump lever after read other's review about it, so the dumper can't stay stable now, and my son can't actually use the push feature of this truck, but anyway he's 16 month old now, he doesn't really need the walker feature anymore, what he need is ride-on.After I did research of all the ride-on on market, this is the only one having the steered front wheel at this price level, that's why I choose this one, and I give 5 star to it. And I really don't understand why not many people buy this, and it's not sold on many stores.

It does need to be fully assembled, so be prepared for 15 to 30 minutes of assembly time. Once put together, it is very sturdy and my granddaughter loves it. I'm sure it will be good for a couple of years of play time.
