I work outside at night and have to inspect the outsides of aircrafts. It’s bright enough for me to see all of the plane from the ground. It does drain batteries quickly, but then again, I use cheap batteries. Lightweight and fits in to my pants pocket.

Overall:The unit so far does what it was supposed to. My mistake was that I had ordered it's big brother that runs off of 3 AAs and assumed this would be a smaller, skinnier version, so I bought a 2-pack of this smaller version. If I hadn't bought the larger version first I would be more excited about the performance of this model.I was simply a little disappointed because the brightness could not be "zoomed in or out" like its bigger brother, the Wsiiroon CREE XML-T6 , model 1800LM, which I bought for $14.99 for a two-pack. Nowhere on the description did it state this penlight version would have multiple modes or would zoom in or out, so I can't hold that against it. I should have read this better before I bought it instead of afterwards and just made that assumption.Water resistance:I have not tested it in water, sorry. If it had some rubber gaskets at the opening points I would try it out for reporting, but since I see none I am not chancing that. OK, I just ran it under a faucet for about 60 seconds with a good stream of water on it and it works fine. Sorry, but since I didn't see in print how much "water resistance" it was claiming, and since I don't see any rubber gaskets in the parts that open, that's as reckless as I will be as I plan to keep both and use them.Battery Life:I have used it several times but to this point not a long enough time to feel comfortable rating the battery as being a "3 hours" or "45 minutes continuous" lifespan. If I had expected that I probably wouldn't have bought this as I would have expected it would cost more than what I paid for the two of these. I have no reason to believe at this point that this flashlight drains batteries quickly, I just don't have enough use to report that yet. I do use high quality Amazon Basics AAA batteries (I used all the EverReady, Duracell etc. most expensive Heavy Duty Alkaline Batteries I could find for years, but about 5-10 years ago I switched to all the Amazon Basics branded ones after reading positive reviews in consumer magazines and never went back.Sturdiness and features:The flashlight is built sturdily and has two "click" settings, "on" and "off" which is also unlike the 3 X AA model has, but that is all that I needed. One benefit of this little one that it's brother does NOT have is that the LED chip is not apparently square, or, it is focused outside the range that would allow you to "see" this square shape. SO when you click it to the "on" state, you see a non-adjustable round light. From 5' distance it has a very bright 12" circle of light with approximately a 6' lighter diameter of overall light. For something this inexpensive it is pretty impressive. (2-pack for $12.99)

rattles a little bit, but I'm not a Navy Seal with tactical deployment as my main concern. two AAA batteries, I got that. Wanted a brand name, but couldn't be had at the price, size, or functionality. Great little light, and works perfect for me. carry it daily at work, and use it at home pretty often too. The batteries last plenty well for any realist out there. it lights what I want it to light, when I want it lit. I really dig this flashlight.

I would not purchase these again. One of the two stopped working within a week. It is a shame too because they are very bright and light weight.

This flashlight is very bright. The battery life isnt terrible compared to most lights that run off of AAA batteries. My biggest complaint is that the clip isnt mechanically attached to the light. I ended up losing the first one pretty quick. Whi h pretty much makes the light useless for me at work bc I carry it in my pocket for ease of access. Fix that problem and this would be a 5 star product.

These flashlights are perfect to have on hand. My husband is a jack of many trades and now keeps one in his pocket at all times. We own a farm, and work on cars, and these have been perfect on more than one occasion. These are perfect when you get caught out in the dark and just need a light real quick. This are also perfect for jobs where you need a direct light on something, such as working under the hood of a car. This takes up less room than most flashlights with the same brightness, so that just makes them perfect to keep on you.

I can't believe how well built and bright these are for the price. Extremely satisfied. Small, lightweight, and bright. Uses regular AAA batteries. I work at night on the railroad and this little light is perfect to carry around, don't even notice it's on you until you need it

PROS: light weight, very bright for a small flashlight, water resistant, pretty durable... I carry one with me everyday the other is in my go pack for work.CONS: and this is the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is..... battery life, I have to change them out about every 2 weeks. Yes I use it almost daily and it’s great but I’ve had mini-mag lights with the same batteries and they lasted at least 2-3 months.Figure this problem out and I’ll edit too 5 stars!!Other than the battery issue, it’s a fantastic pocket light for anyone.
