Bought refurbished from Digital Age USA in Dec 19 for $900. Motherboard crapped out Nov 21, Asus wants $900 to repair. Stay away!

We got this for my daughter because she loves to make art and this computer seemed perfect for her. However, after having it for LESS than a year, the computer would restart every time she would close it and she would have to do a hard reset every time she would want to turn it on. Also, the battery life is terrible. Her computer cannot be unplugged for more than 30 minutes until it runs out of juice and the fan would get so hot that she could not even pick up the computer for a few minutes until it would cool down. If you are someone who needs a multipurpose computer that can handle a lot, this is most definitely not the computer for you.

Several months ago, I spent $1000 refurbishing my ASUS computer by this dealerrecommended by Amazon. After one month, the computer overheated which caused system-wide failure. I had the computer re-examined only to be told that thecomputer fan was damaged, missing screws, pine needles were scattered inside, a piece of tape covered up cat hair. As a consumer on a budget, $1000 is a substantial amount to pay for an upgrade that has failed. Do NOT waste your money!! Not even worthy of ONE STAR!!
