Can the handle be removed while cooking with the basket?

Definitely! One great feature Braize baskets have is a removable handle. This allows you to cook your food with the grill closed with no worries.

Is there non-stick coating on the basket?

No, the basket is made from high-quality stainless-steel so a non-stick coating is not necessary. This eliminates any chance of toxic materials flaking off into your food.

Will the stainless steel handle get hot during use?

Although the handle is stainless-steel, as long as it is removed from the basket and is away from heat, it will remain cool. We recommend detaching the handle from the basket while cooking.

Is the grill basket easy to clean?

Yes! For minor cleaning, the basket can be placed into the dishwasher. For stubborn cooked on food, we suggest using the Braize scrub sponge. Our sponge has steel fibers throughout the surface, which cuts through cooked on grime.
