Pergamano Parchment Craft Starter Kit

This is a good starter kit for those that want to learn about parchment craft. It comes with every thing you need to do the projects in the book. This is a good way to get started with out spending a great deal of money . I would recommend this kit .

Have made some really pretty embellishments. Good quality.

Kit seems nice. Haven't tried it yet but everything is included. Directions seem a bit lacking but I should be able to get it figured out.

This is a nice little kit. just enough to give you a taste of the craft to see if you would like this kind of thing or not. It does add a nice layer to the cards I make.

I found the description misleading because you don't really get everything you need to try this craft out. The instructions refer to treating the paper before you begin to remove grease by using "white spirit" or an anti-static pad to prepare the surface of the paper. My local craft store did not carry either so I tried proceeding without it Not sure if my result would have been better if I had small samples of these two items. The instructions also recommend embossing on an embossing/perforating mat which was not included. The mat that was included is one that is advertised on line to be used when using the stylist with prongs to put holes in the paper so the prongs can go into the material. Advertised embossing mats appear to be made of a much firmer surface. Not sure if the lack of a proper mat affected my results.

I purchased this last Dec. and if you want to make some awesome cards this is where you should look. You can't begin to find anything as beautiful in the stores as you will get with this kit. They really don't take that long to make and what a WOW you get when they are finished. My friends went crazy over them.Highly recommend them for that special person in your life.

I wish the kit had a better embossing pad, but this will do for a starter kit while someone sees if the craft is something they want to pursue. I watched videos I found on Youtube to see how to use the tools, and that helped me get started. The patterns with this kit are adorable and my attempts pretty much look like the photos, just not as neat. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try parchment craft.

I dont regard this product as a toy. I am attending a supposedly beginners parchment class in my local library but have found some of the projects too complicated for me, an absolute beginner. This kit was recommended to me and I am SO glad I bought it- the projects are easy to complete, starting with a very simple one, with each subsequent one building upon the skills learnt in the last one.It contains everything needed to do the projects- you really don't have to go out and buy anything extra.I loved the kit so much I completed all of the projects within a week without any difficulty and they all look really good.Its in the toy section but I would say it would suit a dextrous teenager ( and adults). Not really suitable for younger children in my opinion.If you want to try parchment craft , treat yourself!
