Excellent monitor.
This monitor is out of this world good!! I now suffer every time I have to use my laptop - the 17 in screen seems so small in comparison. I never really appreciated how good a desktop could be until now. LOL. This has good viewing angle from the sides. I use it in Eco mode most of the time but there are other modes for movies and working with graphics. I particularly like the ease of setting it up - done it in under two minutes. The base is excellent and it's so easy to tilt in various directions. It's definitely worth the money. Of course there is cheaper out there, but having got this I'm so glad I didn't go for something cheaper. Just get it.

Inverse Ghosting - Just avoid!
I'm not a big review person but I'm 3 months into owning this monitor and it's honestly awful. It's sharp yes but it's pixel per inch count isn't anything besides average due to such a large display.Colours needed a fair bit of work out of the box to get right and whilst accurate after lack any kind of vibrancy or punch to anything. The biggest draw back and the main reason why you should look elsewhere is the ghosting this monitor suffers with.Ghosting is often present in a lot of displays but here it's awful.Any fast movement regardless of application leaves thick black/white borders over 5mm dragging as you move. For gaming it's totally useless. For photo editing - more photoshop work it's hugely distracting.Even using Google maps will land you a headache.I've owned this for 3 months and it's the worst monitor I've used pretty much due to the ghosting.Acer will only take it in for repair when it's not really broken - leaving me with no monitor and the retailer told me to sell it on eBay at a likely loss..Epic!Stump up a bit extra and get Samsungs 32 inch effort if you want a desktop this size.
