StealthFlow 4631 Adjustable Elbow, 1 Count (Pack of 1), Black

I was planting some grasses and by chance the end planting happened to be spaced so it was right where the Stealthflow downspout was running. So I got this to angle the drain off a bit. I happened to need the 45 degree angle and it worked perfectly. By some reviews occasional people seem to think this isn't adjustable as is described. YES it is. Look at the second photo or really closely at the first and you can see the joint.

Actually, I gifted my young new neighbor with these as a housewarming gift, to solve MY problem of THEIR water runoff ruining my townhouse property and foundation. Probably THE best home improvement purchase I've made which is not directly for my house and it's working like a charm! These have saved me greater financial headaches and add to both our property values. They simply disappear under the mulch and are therefore a very attractive solution. LOVE IT!

This works well to change the course of the low profile gutter extensions. There is some flexibility with the extension-to-gutter bellows type connection, but this allows 90 degrees or more in a sharp turn in a low profile. It's pricey, but worth it if you need to change course that drastically. I had one place I needed to so that

I needed to divert a downspout away from my patio, so I combined the StealthFlow Amerimax-4631#2 with a few other StealthFlow parts to get the job done. There have been a few big rainstorms since I installed the StealthFlow parts and they have diverted the flow just as I had hoped. I’m satisfied with StealthFlow products. Just wish the parts were a little less expensive.

I purchased two adjustable elbows (separate orders) and only one piece of the elbow was sent each time. So it was one piece just over 45°.It is still a great product, very sturdy but I didn't not receive the full product!

Ignore the reviews that say these are not adjustable - they are! It's just that at first glance, it doesn't seem that way. As shipped, they are set to the 45 degree angle. The trick to adjusting them to 90 degrees (or any angle between 45 and 90) is that there are actually two pieces nested inside of each other. By looking closely, I was able to realize that and then pull the inner section out from the outer section to set the angle I wanted.I find this solution better than just expanding the flex portion of the connector that goes from the metal downspout to the plastic flat extension to adjust the angle as I have found in the past that this flex portion of the system is the area most prone to failure.This elbow works with both the older style extensions and the current extensions.Recommended.

I want to thank Deano P. for their review. I ordered this item and thought they sent the wrong thing, looking like a single 45 degree piece. I asked for a replacement and was about to return that one also. Then I saw the review that said LOOK CLOSELY! I did. And sure enough it was exactly as described. The overlapping piece is not easily seen unless you are looking for it. These are great products. I have several of the various downspout extensions.Update 10-16-23: When combined with the Amerimax-4601#2 (24.5" long, 7.25" wide), I was able to divert the downspout direction that had resulted in a ditch from all the heavy rains. I was finally able to lay down dirt, covered by fence panels to level, and grass if returning. Yeah!
