These are by far the best solar rings on the market today!
These things are awesome!About 5 years ago I tried one of the original solar ring products. They were round, more expensive, flipped over on themselves in the slightest breeze and would blow completely off the pool in a mild breeze, they were more difficult taking on and off and much thinner vinyl so they leaked all the time. The SwimWays ThermaSpring product is a fantastically better product! The oval shape is much easier to work with for placing on and removing from the pool and stacking them; the plastic ring around the outside maintains their shape and even a strong wind didn't bother them; and they are obviously made of heavier gauge vinyl because these things are not flimsy and have some weight to them. Now granted they're not inexpensive to properly outfit your pool the first time. I bought a total of 32 which is slightly more than what was recommended to cover my 18' x 36' inground pool, but they keep my pool incredibly warm. Before SwimWays our solar heater struggled to maintain 80°-84° F when night time temps dropped to the low 60°s F. With Swimways it's the water temperature has consistently been 88°-92° F! I love it!

Nice looking pool float
Difficult to inflate. Floats fine in the pool, 20 plus mph winds with gusts into 30s have not lifted it from pool. It looks nice. No real sign that it's limited size has any effect on the pool temp or evaporation. Would have to purchase dozens to see if they make a difference. From what I have seen it would be minimal.

Poor materials used
I have a rather large, odd shaped pool. Last year I purchased 28 of the Solar mats. Live in California and liked that it would assist in water conservation and also raise the temperature of the pool. The product worked well for 6 months. Despite my cleaning them and carefully storing for the winter months, the plastic was cracked and leaking for this spring when I wanted to use them again. I only have 12 left that are barely floating. I cannot afford to spend $300 a year. Hopefully SwimWays will find better materials to use in the future. These were the equivalent in quality to inexpensive pool toys you buy at WalMart!

Inflatable which means they won’t last long waste of money
Got these in read the instructions you need a lot more then we bought for our pool. They have to be inflated so don’t see them being around for to long. Did the 5 bring up temp yes they did. Just think the big sheet better value in the long run.

5 Degrees Warmer!
I live in FL. But my pool is half shaded. So I only get to swim 5 months out of the year. (May-Oct However, I bought these in April and within 1 week, my pool's temperature increased a full 5 degrees! That put my pool to a comfortable 80 degrees so I can now swim in April. I can't wait to see if they allow me to extend my swimming into November!!

Leaks; splits.
We purchased a number of these in 2015. The primary reason for getting these was to reduce pool evaporation due to the California drought restrictions; a secondary reason was to keep the pool a little warmer. After a season of use, I'd have to say that they worked pretty well for both of these purposes; I can't quantify the evaporation reduction but I was adding water much less frequently. And the pool was decidedly warmer, which was nice. I won't buy these again, though, because the material on the upper side of the mat had a bad tendency to develop pinhole leaks and, splits along the "welding" seams. The material also seems to be very poor at resisting the effects of UV and chlorinated water, because when I went looking for the leaks, I found tears in the material. It's too bad, because they were easy to use and I liked them. Don't want to have to purchase another 25 of them, though.

Warm it up
I've tried other solar heating floats. This one is great. Material is stronger and the air stays in longer. Pool heats up fast. Depending on how many you use. 👍👍👍🏊♀️🏊♀️🌞🌞

Solar Mat looks good works well
When its 90+ degrees every day its hard to tell how effective a solar mat is. The pool is warmer since using it. Will get a better feel for it in late summer. Mats were delivered exactly when promised and packaged very well.

Amazing product!
I have bought 14 or so of those in 2017 and there going to be ok for next year. So 5 years up to now. One has puncture this year but I will patch it next summer. Of course the plastic is a bit decolorated and friable but overall still going. Very happy with that purchase. Will surely buy more next year. This is WAY easier than a full fledge solar blanket.

Don’t waste your money
This item not only didn’t work at all, it slowly filled with water as the air came out from a leak we couldn’t find. A total waste of money.

Quality less than expected for brand and cost
Product arrived bent and distorted with split seams. Shipping packaging was intact and good condition without issue. Product was costly and not the quality I anticipated. Open seam takes on water and weighs it down. Difficult to repair and anticipating will cause issues if not properly dried in the sun on occasion. Would not purchase again.
