I have been battling an extruded/ruptured disk for 7 years. 4 months ago, the disk fragments began pressing on my sciatic nerve and I've been in excruciating pain ever since. The leg pain is worse than the back pain and is really hard to alleviate. I pinched a nerve in my left hip area and have had pain down my leg for two years since that. Natural muscle relaxant and over the counter pain pills helped it be OK but I always had some pain.
