Very accurate, simple integration
Great sensor. Please mind the model numbers on these sensors, they look identical.WH31B is your main indoor sensor.WH31 is a completely different beast.Depending on your weather station you can have up to (8) WH31's.But there can be only (1) WH31B on any system I know of.I thought I could have (2) of the WH31B's, I was wrong. This was confirmed by Ambient's OUTSTANDING tech support. The additional sensor now in drawer, powered down, as a backup.I have 3 of the WH31's connected to my weather station. They all work great.

Simple.
Simple installation. Uses only 2 screws. Easy setup. Simple flip of a dip switch to designate the remote number and insert 2 AA batteries. The console connects very quickly with the sensor close by. Since this connects to the WS2000 I can place it anywhere I want and I can read it from my WS2000 console or my smart phone.I bought 2. One for the backyard and one for the garage. A quick glance at the console and I know the temp and humidity all around my house.

Great addition to an Ambient Weather Station
I bought an Ambient weather station last Christmas and needed some extra sensor around the house so I got these. They work quite well and I have not had any issues getting them linked up with the base station or with them losing signal. They are slightly larger than I would prefer but they arent too big that they are a problem either.

An added bonus
I've had an Ambient Weather station for a couple of years now, and now that the ObserverIP receives data from up to 8 additional sensors.... that's an added bonus.I have three, one in our storm shelter, one in the crawlspace and one in the closet where our router and security DVR is located. I've very happy with the results.I've attached the chart for the dip switch settings.

Very Accurate but no dip switch chart on back cover
They are very accurate within less than 1 degree of my WH32B Inside sensor but they came with no instructions on how to set the dip switched and no chart on the back battery cover. I had to navigate their non intuitive Webpage to find the instructions with the dip switch settings. ECOWITT brand sensors have the dip switch settings on the battery cover and cost less but they are not compatible with Ambient Weather Weather Stations even though the model numbers are almost identical and they look exactly the same. The accuracy of the sensors makes up for the poor support.Ambient Weather's Tech Support is poor, only open limited hours so most people that work can't call tech support and E-Mail tech support gives quick, vague, generic answers and if you ask more than one question via E-mail they usualy only answer the first question.

Works great for base weather station.
Works great for monitoring an extra room or space. Connection is very easy. No need for tech support. Reports to base station with needed information.

Excellent addition to my existing weather station
Needed to extend my existing weather station in my off grid camp and was happy to hear that a recent firmware update on the 1400 now allows for these sensors to be added. Just insert batteries and you are off and going. 2 mins later I saw the sensor in my dashboard.

What's not to like
Have this in my bath. Works as designed and comes with the best company and support ... Ambient Weather. I also have the WS-2000 weather station and a PM25 particulate monitor. ALL great products.
