Oy, this stuff finally arrived. So worth the wait. Once you try this deodorant and see/smell/feel how well it works, it is something you want to keep on using. It isn't cheap, but it is my favorite. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Schmidt's offers a SENSITIVE skin variety. See, if you are wanting to get away from aluminum and other questionable ingredients, a lot of healthier options included BAKING SODA-which the regular Schmidt's deodorant has in it-- which is great UNLESS /until you find out you are sensitive to it. You know you are sensitive to it if you get itchy, scaly, red, gross armpits from it. Baking soda just does that to SOME people (like me). And when it happens, it tends to happen during more humid, hot, sticky weather.SO, what is another option? THIS THIS THIS- any of the Schmidt't that state it is for "sensitive skin" DOES NOT USE baking soda, but instead uses MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE!! YES!! Why is this exciting? Because Magnesium Hydroxide (basically your milk of magnesia) makes for a super awesome deodorant that creates no reaction on sensitive skin. VERY GENTLE and VERY EFFECTIVE. It is actually what I typically use- just dip a finger or piece of cloth into a bottle of milk of magnesium and swab it over pits. As well as that works, it is also nice to just have a more typical style of deodorant to use. It is easier, quicker, etc.This stuff can be a little dry, especially during colder times of the year. It warms up easily against skin- just hold it there for a moment then it will glide across skin. Right now, it is summer so the product is just gliding on with out need for that.I am reviewing the Geranium Flower Sensitive Skin formula. It smells exactly like I expected it to- like geranium from the geranium essential oil. Kind of a light floral and a tart rose aroma. I love it. I have used their Pineapple-Coconut Sensitive Skin formula with equal affection. Long lasting (for me).I want to say that I have used other natural deodorants that don't contain the baking soda that I try to stay away from, and they have all been different levels of awful. I won't name names, but all of them have been disappointing. I even had one where I swear it was worse than not using deodorant at all- was like my stink was amplified. So forever more I will use Schmidts or just plain magnesium hydroxide. That ingredient is just so effective!Made in USA, no aluminum, no propylene glycol, no artificial fragrance, certified vegan, certified cruelty-free, gluten freelove love love it!!

I was bummed when Queen Helene deodorant was discontinued, as I'd used a couple different scents for over a decade, and loved them. They didn't keep me dry (which I expected), and though the scents were nice, they didn't keep odor at bay, even if I sat still all day. The scent would last half a day, if that.Well am I glad I was forced to look for an alternative!! Read about Schmidt's Jasmine Tea in a magazine article on the best natural deodorants and decided to try this, even though the price was higher than I usually paid. Well all I have to say so far is WOW!!! Been using it for about 10 days, 2-3 light underarm swipes, and though I'm pretty sedentary, I do an hour walk every day and work up a light sweat—though remarkably, no underarm sweating!! By end of day, no problem. No bad odor, just a faint jasmine scent.Next morning, still fine. So I decided to experiment. I didn't have to go anywhere for a few days, and we were having temps in the mid-80s, so I didn't wash under my arms or reapply the Schmidt's. I did this for THREE DAYS. After the end of the third day, I had a very faint body odor, but you'd have to stick your nose right up under my arm, and it was just barely there. I'd have gone an extra day, but I did have to shower on the fourth day. And again, no underarm sweating!This is like a miracle to me, since I can get pretty stinky, even though I eat well and cleanly, and I do sweat. I don't know how they do it, but now I'm ordering a 3-pack of Jasmine and trying out another sensitive scent, coconut/pineapple, and hope it works as well. All the same ingredients except for the scents. I could not be happier with this product and highly recommend it. Everyone's body chemistry is different, so as they say, your mileage may vary. I love this deoderant because it really does work. I tried the regular deoderant first and it literally destroyed my pitts to a scary extent. When the company contacted me and asked to send me the sensitive one for free, i actually declined at first because i'd had such a bad experience, but since it was free I thought it couldn't hurt and they kindly sent one along. There were a ton of bad reviews for the Geranium sent which also made me feel skeptical but I thought the deoderant actually smelled lovely and I don't know why anyone would really criticize. Maybe if you don't like to smell like flowers that's your thing, but there's nothing bad or terrible or overpowering about it, to me.The deoderant really works. I am in a choir at church and often in close proximity to others with my arms in the air. It's pretty much the perfect deoderant testing situation, especially after a mad dash to check in three small children in childcare first thing in the morning! It's a recipe for sweat and unpleasant odor. But the schmidts hasn't failed me yet. I don't use it everyday as it is much too strong for my skin and still threatens to give me irritation and rash if I do, I actually only use it once or twice a week and I don't shave as much cuz I can't use it the same day that I shave.All that aside, it really is a natural deoderant that works. Even my very large, manly, active husband uses it and aside from smelling oddly feminine (i actually complemented him on his scent one morning although it weirdly eluded me that it didn't smell very manly and he confessed he'd been wearing my deoderant)!I only took a star off because it is strong stuff and I don't tend to have sensitive skin so if you do, just be forewarned not to use it everyday and not to use it after you shave under your arms under any circumstances! I would definitely commit to this brand of deoderant in the future!
