I am returning this cord because it turned out to be much thicker than advertised.

I needed a long cable to test alternative locations for additional routers (to get get good coverage in all rooms) before commiting to do any work at the walls.yes it does the job and it is really convenient to have a roll of it in the house.Main drawbacks:- the plastic jacket of the cable is not as shown in the pictures (which I realised after the purchase that are 3D renderings). the jacket is soft (you can feel the twisted pairs) and without filling (like a power cable) so the inner cables move around- if the cable accidentally folds over as you pull it immediately creates a kink . I assume it will not take a lot of effort to break it internally- the cable is unshieleded, and no matter what it says in the description if you have sensitive equipement (like an AM or shortwave radio) ,running this long cable at 50Mbs you can hear 'birdies' all over the place, so I would not use it for permanent installation in such enviroments.
