JUNKERS - Men's Watches - Junkers Bauhaus - Ref. 6070-5

I love it. It's different. I read about the company, Junkers, that made aircraft for years. I understand the Bauhaus design school minimalist style from Germany in 1920s.Its larger face and slim profile feel great on the wrist. Design touches like the edge bevel on the outer surface of the face and the company logo on the crown place it a notch above the mass market. The leather strap is very comfortable and well made, I believe it's from Italy.I was hesitant about the plexiglass style crystal. But I read it is common on aviation watches due to concerns over crystal shards in the cockpit. And then I found that the hesalite crystal is the same as used on the Omega Moonwatch and I was no longer hesitant.I bought the quartz watch because I was cautious about spending for the automatic without knowing the brand. After having this watch 3 months, I would spring for the automatic. But this quartz is just great.Its a great watch different from my Citizen, Seiko and Hamilton.

A beautiful Junker dress watch. If you can’t stand a thin leather band, look elsewhere. Though, I feel that everyone should have at least one nice dress watch. I have too many automatics, so I opted for the quartz (less hassle). However, I was eyeing a couple Junker automatics haha.BTW, this is one of the nicest leather straps I’ve seen on a $200 watch. Bar none. Very decent, indeed.I threw it on a mesh band, and it looks even better!!!Conclusion: Well worth $199.01 for this watch. Love it!!

The watch us every bit as good in real life as is depicted in the picture. Although i initially did not like the strap - not due to quality whatsoever but simply due to presonal preference - this was easily resolved through wonderful service. Long island watches was extremely accomodating in resolving the issue. As such, i strongly recommend buying from them - especially so if you intend to buy a junkers bauhaus.

This is an extremely sleek and sophisticated looking watch. It has the build quality to ensure it will last and is an exceptional option at its price. The only thing to note is that the glass is a little soft so it's not for hard use.

I am basing this review off the price point of $200+. This is a fine watch but not quite worth that amount. It’s very light weight which can be appreciated but it almost made it seem cheap. Additionally, the tick of the second hand was audible which I would not expect from a watch of this value.

I like it... really stylish. I chose the quartz movement because I didn't want to worry about setting my watch every time I wanted to wear it.Really does look better in person. I am a little worried about the crystal scratching because it is plastic (not sapphire), but I guess I will have to see.250$ is not cheap for a quartz watch without sapphire crystal, but I like the watch so much that I am still going to give it 5 stars.

The watch is beautiful. It took 3 orders to get one without a scratch under the face, but it was probably worth it. 4 stars so nobody else gets it and I'm the only one.

the watch is OK, although a bit pricey for a Ronda 515 movement. 750 is only a few bucks more expensive, but it features real jewels and battery EOL indicator.Overall a nice tribute to famous German inventor and arts sponsor.

Bin überhaupt kein Experte aber:Die Uhr schaut auf dem Produktfoto nicht so schön aus wie in echt, das Ziffernblatt ist beige/cream und die Uhr verschafft einen qualitativen und edlen eindruck.Das Lederband scheint sehr hochwertig zu sein, jedenfalls sieht es 100% perfekt aus (Nähte usw.), auch wenn man einen genaueren Blick darauf wirft, alles passt.Das Glas ist Plexiglas, manche teuren Modelle haben auch Plexiglas (billiger zum Tauschen, Zersplittert nicht, Kratzer kann man polieren), also das ist einfach preference Sache. Mich störts gar nicht.Das ist alles überhaupt kein Problem, was die Uhr so generell trifft absolut 5/5 Sternen, ABER:Ich habe schon darüber gelesen und es gibt im internet viele Postings über das Problem, und zwar ist der Sekundenzeiger nicht perfekt, es scheint irgendwie locker zu sein (im Uhrwerk selbst).z.B. 12-6 Uhr passt es, aber wenn der Zeiger aufwärts geht, zeigt es bisschen in die Mitte.Wenn ich die Uhr aber umdrehe ist das Problem umgekehrt, und wenn es flach liegt scheint das Problem auch weg zu sein.(Foto: sollte auf 45min zeigen)Das gleiche Problem uebrugens auch mit der Damen Version mit ETA Uhrwerk! Beide Uhren hatten dieses Problem.Also nur gewarnt sein, ich glaube das betrifft alle Modelle, aber den meisten fällt das gar nicht auf, es ist auch halb so schlimm, aber gut zu wissen bevor man die Uhr kauft.Ich Empfehle trotzdem zum Kauf, wenn die Uhr dir gefällt.Edit wegen Vergleich mit der kleineren Version:Die Damen Version ist mir bisschen zu klein, obwohl ich sehr duenne Handgelenke habe (16,5cm).Man muss auch beachten dass die Damenuhr auf dem Foto weiter links ist, wenn es in der normalen Position ist, schaut es irgendwie noch kleiner aus, wie eine Kinder Uhr.

L'orologio fa parte della collezione "Bauhaus" della Junkers, dall'omonimo movimento tedesco degli anni Venti, volto ad unire arte e tecnologia, che ha ispirato il design contemporaneo, dall'architettura all'arredamento, fino ovviamente agli orologi. I pro: lo stile, innanzitutto, che è semplice, asciutto, minimalista, niente a che vedere con le mode del momento; l'alta qualità (il "made in Germany" è una garanzia); il braccialetto in vera pelle (italiano). I contro: il movimento al quarzo (Ronda 515), il diametro di 40 centimetri (un po' grande, e poco coerente con lo stile retro, ma nulla in confronto agli orrendi padelloni tanto in voga al giorno d'oggi); il cristallo in hesalite. Nel complesso, un ottimo prodotto per chi ama indossare un orologio che richiama il passato, lo stesso che avrebbe potuto indossare un nonno o un papà (in effetti, mio padre aveva un orologio quasi identico), dal design minimalista e retro, in puro stile Bauhaus. Un pezzo di storia, al nostro polso. Eleganza, stile, qualità al giusto prezzo. Per tutte queste ragioni, lo Junkers è molto vicino al "modello" preferito da chi ama tutto ciò, ma non vuole spendere una fortuna: lo Junghans Max Bill. L'orologio che avrei voluto acquistare ma, purtroppo, Amazon per lo Junghans non fornisce il servizio di consegna all'ufficio postale o ai lockers. In ogni caso, lo Junkers costa molto meno rispetto allo Junghans e, in fondo, non è poi così distante quanto a stile e qualità. Insomma, corrisponde perfettamente alla mia idea di stile e design, ovviamente del tutto personale. Chi preferisce modelli fashion, sceglierà diversamente.

Das ist eine spontane Begeisterungs-Rezension, denn ich habe die Uhr erst vor 2 Stunden bekommen und voller Spannung ausgepackt. Die erste Begeisterung löste die Verpackungsbox aus: in schwarz mit einem silbernen Junkers-Logo drauf. Den Scharnierdeckel der Box aufgeklappt und gestaunt. Da lag das Schmuckstück in einer Mulde aus geriffeltem, matt-silbernen Aluprofil. Also der Alu-"Haut" der Original-JU 52 nachempfunden.Eine optisch tolle Wirkung. Diese Box behalte ich!Dann raus mit der Uhr und an's Handgelenk gehalten: ich war wieder begeistert! Das Design ist eine tolle Mischung aus Eleganz und Understatement. Dies liegt an dem puristischen Bauhaus-Design: filigran und doch gut ablesbar. Schön flach und nicht so eine dicke "Monsteruhr" wie von anderen Herstellen. Die Krone hat zwei Einrast-Positionen: erste Rastung = Datum einstellen; zweite Rastung = Zeit einstellen. Beide Rast-Stellungen sind sehr präzise und nicht so schwammig wie bei anderen Uhren, bei denen man 10x die Krone hin- und herschieben muß bis man endlich die richtige Position gefunden hat.Die Uhr ist "Made in Germany" - und das merkt man auch (auch beim Lederarmband)!Für flippige Youngster ist diese Uhr vielleicht zu konservativ, aber für Männer mit Geschmack ist sie eine absolute Empfehlung. Da wird im Büro oder Restaurant bestimmt gefragt: "Du hast wohl eine neue Uhr? Die sieht ja Klasse aus. Die hat bestimmt ein paar Tausend EURO gekostet - oder?"Ich sage dann schlicht und einfach JA - und lächle still vor mich hin und denke an die 199 EURO.

Habe mich für die Bauhaus Uhr von Junkers entschieden, da ich auf der Suche einer schlichten Uhr war aber keine "Mode Uhr" mir kaufen wollte. Die Junkers war mir vom Preis mit 200€ gerade noch im Budget (Max Bill wären auch schön aber mir pers. zu teuer)Naja jetzt mal zur Uhr:Armband finde ich sehr wertig, von der Lederart sowie die Verarbeitung.Die Uhr finde ich sehr schön, vor allem von oben gesehen. Das Problem mit den nicht genauem Sekundenzeiger kann ich teilweise bestätigen. Manche Sekunden "punkte" trifft der Zeiger genau und manche in der Runde trifft er ca 0,3-0,4 mm daneben (Abstand der Punkte ca. 2mm) also nur zu sehen wenn man genau darauf achtet. Beachtet man dazu, dass man eigtl nie mit einem 90° Winkel auf die Uhr schaut, fällt es eigtl nie auf.Warum die Sterne nur 4 Sterne erhält: Ich finde das Plastikgas einfach nicht wertig und bei einer 200 EUR auch nicht ganz begreiflich. Vor allem von der Seite betrachtet fällt die Optik auf, da das Glas sich vom Gehäuse abhebt und nicht eingeebnet ist, sonst ist die Uhr sehr schön und ich bin auch trotzdem sehr zufrieden. Nur für den Preis finde ich eben das Glas nicht so "perfekt".

Diese Uhr hat meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen.Die vom Verkäufer bereitgestellten Fotos werden der Wertigkeit dieser Armbanduhr nicht gerecht.Das Metallgehäuse ist perfekt geformt und poliert. Das Uhrglas ist in einer proportionell hervorragenden Kuppel aufgesetzt. Dadurch hat man am Rand des Ziffernblattes je nach Lichteinfall eine dezente Lichtbrechung welche dem ganzen nochmal einen besonderen Glanz verleiht, und auf der Cremefarbe gut zur Geltung kommt.Wenn man im Tagesgebrauch aber auf die Uhr schaut, sind die Ziffern durch die Glasform auch nicht verzerrt und immer gut lesbar.An der Hand sitzt die Uhr wie angegossen. Man merkt sie nicht. Sowohl das hochwertige Armband als auch die Form der Bandhalterung tragen dazu bei, dass diese Uhr wie eine zweite Haut am Handgelenk sitzt. Wenn man die HAnd noch oben hin anwinkelt merkt man auch den Stellstift kaum. Diesen kann man zum Teil herausziehen um das Datum zu korrigieren.Fazit: Kaufempfehlung. Passt zu allem. Preis ist herausragend, für eine Uhr dieser Qualität.
