Glass Stackable Mixing Bowls/Prep Bowls Set of 6,Clear. 32¾ oz./ 6.75"

I know this isn't the intended use (for preparing food), but this is my experience. Had the cats on an enclosed porch on a warm day for awhile and I grabbed a wide plastic container for water. Noticed they would immediately seek out the bowl when they came out on other occasions, even though they had other water sources. I wanted my bowl back for its intended purpose so I bought these. The cats have multiple sources of water but they prefer these bowls. Good and sturdy, no issues. There are 6 and I had no use for them otherwise, so I decided to test growing their grass in these bowls instead of smaller ceramic plant pots. I use a couple of those coco coir pods, but I start out with one (with wet soil that I keep soggy for about 3 days until much of the grass gets to be an inch tall). I add another to the bottom once the roots are established and I can pick up the whole thing (about 6 days). Seems like the grass lasts longer and is healthy longer in the bowl using this method. It's nice to be able to see how moist the soil is so I know when to water.

These are the best prep bowls. Stackable, durable, infinitely useful.

I love these Duralex bowls. I found one somewhere in the past, and liked its' weight and durability so much I bought more when I needed to add to my prep bowl inventory. I bought this size and the one that's around 3" in diameter. They're great for keeping ingredients sorted and organized when cooking multiple meals at once, and I really prefer clear bowls for this function over obtuse ones. These do great in the dishwasher. They're also great for stacking and storing as the small ones fit inside the larger ones. The rim around the edge makes them easy to grab and hold. These are a good size for breakfast bowls. I've used the smaller ones over the years for cold deserts like puddings and gelatins. Place a layer of sliced fresh fruit around the bottom before spooning in the main desert for an awesome, simple presentation. I should mention the seller did a great job protecting these during packaging. They came with a sturdy cardboard ring in the bottom of each bowl and were amply wrapped in bubble wrap. I ordered 12 bowls altogether. All arrived in perfect condition.

I really need a bowl type of item of this size as I mix crushed medications up with yogurt or applesauce or pudding twice daily and this is the perfect size. I originally used a bowl that was part of a mixing bowl set and it was great for years until it was dropped and broke. I could not find a comparable substitute until it occurred to me to try Amazon and found these. A little pricey initially but for a 4 pack having the extra backups comes out even for me. I don’t ever heat it up in any way so I can’t speak to that but durability? Great. Size for what I need? Great. I’m even considering getting the next size up!

The bowl is fine, but like other purchasers the information clearly said this was going to be one bowl, but instead I got six bowls. I not only don't need them but I will have to find the room to store them in my small apartment or give some away to friends. They're packaged in plastic all together so they're too heavy to return, and anyway if I tried ordering again I wouldn't trust the information that said I was getting only one. Very frustrating.

These are the perfect size for measuring spices for recipes. Duralex makes quality glassware that’s made in France. I love that they’re stackable and the they’re beautiful and functional.

I would not want to be without these for my kitchen. I pretty much use them everyday. They are sturdy and hold up well in the dishwasher. If something happens to mine I will be ordering more. I've also given these as gifts too.

Just what I wanted for prep bowls. The 8 bowls were shipped with packing tape holding them all together. This isn’t ideal since there was no packing material between each bowl and it also left tape residue on the bowls. Nothing arrived broken and the residue came off with soap and water.
