Caution - Galanz will not honor stated warranty!
Watch out for warranty scam. It comes with a stated 1 year warranty. However, when we tried to assert the warranty after 5 months, they told us that the warranty is actually only 28 days. They said the 1 year warranty applies only to "operation" and does not apply to defective parts - even though the stated warranty clearly includes materials in the warranty. I spoke with customer service and they admitted that the warranty that comes in the box is not the "actual" warranty, and that I would have to contact corporate to obtain the actual warranty.

Simply awful product and company
Bought this at Home Depot. Defective from the start. Everything's frozen, or everything's unfrozen. Can't adjust temp so freezer freezes but fridge doesn't. Attempted to deal with Galanz customer service. NEVER a return call after leaving four messages. Dreadful and non-existent customer service. Too bad. It's a really nice looking machine.

Great price but not here
Got our Galanz 7.6cf retro fridge from Home Depot $269.00! On the last day of a sale I had to buy the demo but it was pristine. Got10% knocked off! This little fridge performs great. Ice cold beer at the 4.5 setting. We’ve had problems with a similar, smaller two door dedicated freezer model cooling enough. This one is a winner!

Best valued retro fridge on the market.
Awesome fridge. It is small but if you are complaining about that you miss the point of a retro fridge. It is basically an apartment sized (full size not mini) fridge with retro styling. Canadian Tire sells them for 399 and I just got one there. Awesome fridge or second fridge. This is not family sized. But again, you are missing the point of a retro fridge. I could have spent the money on a Smeg or alternative model but the price (1/4 of the smeg starting prices) and convenience (bought it at Canadian Tire a few miles from home) of the Galantz made it worthwhile

DO NOT BUY!
No warranty! Worked for two weeks just fine then it started leaking water. Called to have it fixed or like reset. Customer service tells me to unplug for 24 hours, to reset. Never got cold again. Called back CSR was rude. Never buying anything galanz.

Galanz does not support parts for repair.
It is cute, end of story. Piece of crap. Worked only 2 years. Called for a spare parts relay and was told they don't do spare parts.

Rip off
They sell these exact models at Canadian Tire from time to time on recurring "special buys" for $399 and the smaller mini bar fridge for $199.These are VERY SMALL and don't really work the best. Was given one to try, was free to me if i wanted to keep it... I gave it back, would have been far too small & use way too much electricity.
