Hands down the best BJJ tape BY FAR
I've been searching for good BJJ tape for awhile. The ones I've tried in the past just come right off 20 minutes into class. I had seen people online using a thin black tape and I was like, "Man, that's just what I need", but I could never seem to find any. Finally, I saw a video from Dubious Dom and he pointed others to this tape. It's pretty perfect. I would recommend the .3 or .2 width. I use .3, but may get .2 next time, because I like to use it on my pinky which has broken twice now. It does leave a sticky residue after taking it off (and even a bit when on), so it gets on my steering wheel a little while driving home from class. That's really the only negative and to be expected since it's a stronger hold. Worth the minor hiccup and with some rubbing it comes right off. Worth the minor hiccup for sure.I will also say that the rolls came a little smooshed, but it didn't hurt anything.

Great tape
Great tape to protect your fingers. Holds up during class and tournaments. Be consistent with where you cut it and it will be easy to remove. Can be difficult to find where the tape ends when you want to remove them. Could always use scissors though

Not bad
I think I bought this because of the packaging/marketing lol. It does the job but if youβre gonna spend the money, stick with Fuji tape: itβs easier to rip AND stays put. The monkey tape always works itβs way up and off my fingers mid class.

Does the job but leaves sticky residue everywhere
I wanted to give this product a fair shot so after about a few months of use here is my review....Product came essentially "stuck" together and was crushed as shown in picture. I figured whatever I need it now so let me give it a chance. When you try to unwind the tape it's very sticky like gum on the bottom of your shoe in a hot day. I realized well maybe when I put it on it will be okay. I was wrong there is sticky residue left on anything it touches. My gi, my training partners skin, my car keys, water bottle etc. and it's annoying.I dislocated my finger so im once again trying this product again but of course after about 6 uses its still horribly sticky.Does it work? sure it does. But why worry about some annoying residue that stains your clothes, your partners etc. after this picture I threw it in the trash and will go back to using tried and true tape that I have to tear thin (not a big deal tape like Johnaon and Johnson tears very easily and doesn't have residue and doesn't come off).Final verdict. It does the job. But the tape residue and difficulty tearing, etc make it too annoying I'd rather stick to using some regular medical type tape that I simply tear into a thin strip.Would I use again? no. Even if this cost $1.00 I will pass on this. Sorry guys I really wanted to belive in it but maybe get your glue consistency down. If it costs more I'd gladly pay it and I know your customers would too.

Perfect!
This is perfect for my keeping poor broken finger from further injury during rolling. And I love that it's pink π»π

Super Sticky but leaves Residue
This is the stickiest tape I've ever used for jiu jitsu. It stays on the entire time and I've never had it unfurl during intense training sessions. The only problem is that the adhesive is so sticky, it leaves a residue on my wrist and skin. You have to aggressively rub it off, and sometimes that's still not enough. My wrist has turned red from having to rub off the residue since I'm using the tape 3 - 4 times a week.

Can't go without this product
I've used regular medical tape in the past, but it doesn't compare. I've been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 12 years now. After years of gripping the constant and repetitive strain wore on my joints. At one point I wasn't able to make a full fist from the swelling and pain. When i finally started to wrap my fingers it took years to find a product that would hold up to the demands of rolling/sparring. Tape was either not strong enough, not waterproof, not sticky enough, or any myriad of failures. Finally, here comes Monkey Tape. I was shocked at how totally different it was than anything on the market. You can feel the texture right away. It's strong, flexible, will not come off or even move during intense sparring sessions. Also, very waterproof and of course sweat proof. After a year of use my finger joints were healed even though I never stopped training.I would recommend this product to anyone even if you haven't experienced any joint damage. Watch youtube vids on how to properly wrap and only use this product.

Great for BJJ
I have tried other brands that failed to be useful for BJJ. This brand is great and will last over 2 hours on the mats. Would recommend over other products.
