Fits well, very comfortable.
I ordered this along with the RX long sleeve base layer for quicker recovery time, as well as extra warmth while cycling at night when around 60 F. Although many reviewers have stated the sizing is off, I disagree. The sizing was right on for me; I am about 165 lbs, 5' 11" and ordered the medium size of both. They both fit perfectly... there should be an expectation of a tight feel when wearing compression style clothing and these are no different. I like this type of fit as it literally feels like you have an additional layer of skin.I highly recommend this and the RX shirt for several reasons. The ability of this material to wick away moisture is superb. It dries very quickly and feels very comfortable whether wet or dry. The material is very stretchy, making a tight fit incredibly comfortable. I initially purchased these for recovery but find myself wearing them while on bike rides during cooler nights as well as when weight lifting. The material is thin enough to not hamper movement, but thick enough to provide some support. It is not as thick as the SUB COLD material but that is to be expected. I prefer the RX material to the SUB DUAL material; I'd say it feels a bit softer. For recovery purposes it's more difficult to gauge. On average I do feel as though my legs and arms are less fatigued when sleeping in these after a hard workout or bike ride. I feel like I can go longer the day after and like my muscles are less willing to cramp up. Putting these on is not a quick task. Because of the tight fit expect to spend a couple minutes getting these on. I have had no issues with washing but would never recommend throwing these, or any other compression sportswear, in the drier.Pros:- Comfortable fit- Less expensive than most compression sportswear- Excellent moisture wicking ability- Seems to reduce recovery timeCons:- Takes a minute or two to put on

Love 'em, Love 'em, Love 'em!!!
Every once in a long while a product comes along that you wonder how you managed to do without in the years passed. This is one such product. If your sitting on the fence because like I, you too were told that "real men don't wear tights", well, get off the fence and into a pair of these tights. And if you've never worn compression tights, they're best described as sex for your legs. They're that good! They squeeze and caress your muscles as well as make your skin feel hyper sensitive to the environment around you. Putting these on is like squeezing into a condom made for your legs. They're very light, yet very tight, and yet again, make your legs feel great!. If not for the constant pressure, you'd think you were running around stark naked, That makes for a strange sensation, as you seemingly don't feel the tights themselves. I literally felt like I just threw a T-shirt on my naked body and walked out the front door. They're neither hot or cold, but transfer the temperature on the outside right to my skin. They actually help to cool you down on hot days, as they do a better job wicking, disbursing, and evaporating sweat than that which can be done naturally. I've got one more brand on order I want to try, the 2XU elite. After that I plan on purchasing several more pair, as I've started wearing them to counter DVT. Incidentally, the Sub Sports RX are well made and look very sporting, especially with the contrast stitching and logo on the right leg. My only regret is that these weren't around back, when I was in the Navy, as they also do a great job of nearly eliminateing muscle fatigue and soreness.

Fits great, just not at the foot openings.
Some others find Sub Sports' apparel to run smaller than US sizes, I found it just right (besides the foot openings). I got them through once, but it sounded and felt like it was tearing so I returned it.FITThis is Sub's summerweight graduated compression short. The thickness is akin to a good pair of bicycling shorts so they lack the warmth/heft/thickness of Sub's COLD compression shorts which are not graduated. Side by side, the difference is the COLD appear to have uniform compression throughout whereas the graduated have differing elasticity at the glutes, quads, calves, and knees. It's quite an intelligent design and while the Medium has an inseam of about 33", this fit nicely on my 30" inseam legs. Overall, these fit better than the best 8-panel tights I've ever worn and are as restrictive as being nude.CONSTRUCTIONAgain, it's summer weight and while they as stylish enough to wear alone, you may not want to reveal that much about yourself (they're not sheer, just nothing is left to the imagination). That said, the weight feels just right and the compression is not so unforgiving at the knee to hamper running and bicycling. The seams and stitching is tight. I foresee no issues with chafing during extended activity although I didn't work out in it before returning. IIRC these are built with about five panels/zones (glutes, groin, quad, knees, shins/calves).ADVICESub would benefit from larger or more elastic foot openings. My size 8 US foot was tight getting these pants on and off. My boyfriend could not get his size 11 US foot through.

Great value for the money, with some caveats
About me:------------In terms of sports, I do mainly running and kick boxing. I have used compression garments from Nike (Pro Combat line), Adidas (Techfit line), Under Armor and 2XU. I consider 2XU the golden standard of compression gear. With regards to Sub Sports I own both an RX line top and bottom and have been using them 3-4 times a week for about a month at the time of writing this review.Size:-----A lot of people reviewing Sub Sports compression clothing believe it to be comparatively small in size. They seem to miss the point of this type of garment: COMPRESSION! Compared to low-end products from Nike and Adidas (Under Armor), Sub Sport fit is tighter. Sub Sports length compared to Nike and Under Armor is considerably longer (which is great if you move a lot). Compared to the golden standard of compression gear, 2XU, fit and size is about the same(!) I would conclude that sizing is accurate and one should buy according to the sizing chart. I returned a size 'L' which was crazy lose, for a size 'M' which was near identical to my 2XU size 'MT'.Compression:-----------------Compression compared to lower end brands (sorry it may seem crazy) like Nike and Adidas, Under Armor is very good. Compared to 2XU it's at least nearly as good.Wearing them:-------------------There are some strange design choices with Sub Sports. Specifically there is a rough seam that runs on the inside/back side of the knee. I imagine this seam will cause skin rashes during longer runs -during my own runs it is at least an annoyance. The same goes for the top where a similar seam runs inside the armpit: I do kick boxing and when punching this seam is really disturbing me because of the friction it generates. If you are a man you will appreciate that the Sub Sports pants are shaped at least somewhat to accommodate the male gender. The 2XU pants are flat in this area, putting more pressure on the male genitalsToxic coloring?------------------My 2XU clothing shed a lot of color the first couple of times I washed them, as did the Sub Sports. The difference is that the Sub Sports smell toxic! 'Made in China' and smelling like this -who knows what chemicals are being compressed into your skin!? I would advise washing them a couple of times before first use to mitigate any risk to your health.Value:-------Sub Sports offer exceptional value for the money. These are great compression clothing for very little money. I would recommend 2XU over these any time, but as a spare set or for someone on a budget, they cannot be beaten.

Good quality product at a good price
I decided to buy these leggings after reading about the benefits of compression leggings for runners and the reviews of this product on amazon.co.uk.I'm about a 32" waist/29" leg and I ordered the medium size. They fit snugly and there's a little bit of 'extra' in the leg for those of you with longer legs than me. They seem to be well made and have suffered no apparent ill-effects from being washed.I found that the first time I used them they felt quite tight in the back of the knee, because that's where the compression is tight. I didn't find it as noticeable the second time around and I'm sure I'll get used to it. I found the compression to be really helpful for my thighs, where I have tended to suffer a little bit of soreness when running longer distances in shorts. I didn't feel any soreness at all after running in these, so I'm delighted with my purchase. You could spend a lot more on the premium brands for this type of product but I'm perfectly happy with my SUB RX leggings. I would get them again.

I ordered a medium which fits me fine, a little long but better longer than shorter
I'm 5'8'' tall and 10st 4lb. I ordered a medium which fits me fine, a little long but better longer than shorter. I've worn them twice and must confess I'm not used to wearing running tights out in public but with a shirt on and in with 200 other runners at a park run, male and female and probably 50 of them wearing very similar attire, there wasn't much to worry about.Initially they feel cold outside, but once you get running you don't notice them. The second outing it was raining hard but again they kept me warm and compressed.Yes I like them. Well worth the money.
