Not for woodsman
This tool is amazing for the price. With Gerber Downranges being sold out and going for 3x the price these things are a friggin steal. These are not for camp work. These are for breaching or perhaps vehicle extraction. The blade on axe is a bit sharper than the Downrange. It also has hammer and pry bar with wrench. I have a few axes and tomahawks and sometimes your not quite sure why they’re so darn expensive. This one is opposite. Despite it “only” being 420 I’m not sure how they can offer so much for so little.

like the gerber downrange tomahawk, but better priced!
was deciding between this and the gender downrange tomahawk, decided to get this because of it being half the price and the quality is amazing.

Great value
Great price, sturdy tool. Would be great for actual breaching of doors and windows on houses or vehicles. Not the best camp axe, not great at cutting wood, but it's not designed for that. Would recommend as a more economical alternative to the Gerber. Same size and very sturdy tool. Great truck axe if you are an off duty FF or first responder.

Good for it’s intended purpose
Don’t compare it to the Gerber Downrange. They are completely different philosophy of use. I am a paramedic/fireman, and carry the Gerber daily, since it first came out. The Camillius crash is better suited for vehicle extrication and smashing. It weighs 3.8lbs versus the Gerbers 2.0lbs. It works well as a vehicle carry Emergency tool used to chop/breach light sheet metal or make purchase points for when the power units show up. It’s a good tool for its application but will never replace my Gerber as a duty carry. The Gerber and a pocket prybar gets me into most all residential and light commercial properties without grabbing the irons, at almost half the weight. Since the Gerber is so light it goes with me in a flashlight ring everywhere, the Camillius is heavy enough that I have to think “is it worth grabbing, if so should I just grab the irons”
