I've been in the market for a Bluetooth transmitter for a while now, I've bought previous items from Mpow and been impressed so when I saw this item has Bluetooth 5.0 I went for it.Out of the box right away I was surprised by the size... It's small, about the same size as a iPod shuffle. A quick read through the instructions to see how to pair with my headphones and it was time to test it out. Obviously it's pretty simple to plug into the TV, then it's just a matter of pressing the pairing button and within 10 seconds it was connected. A nice feature of the device is that it can transmit to 2 speakers, giving a surround sound effect.Only downside has been a slight humm if its charging while transmitting, but it's only barely noticeable, and the battery seems to last a long time.All around great little device fulfilling my needs.

I bought the Taotronics basic Bluetooth transmitter to listen to DAB around the house and it worked when it decided it wanted to connect which wasn't very often so I sent it back and got this because it's the same price but with Bluetooth 5.0.Got to say it's excellent, connected straight away, up and running in seconds. I first connected it to a tribit speaker and the sound quality is good; also connected it to an echo dot with the same results. You can connect two speakers at the same time which I did but they weren't a paired pair so it didn't sound quite right but I do like the fact you can do that. I haven't had it long enough to try out the battery life yet but you can have it plugged in so that doesn't matter too much for my needs.There is small latency between source and sound but very minimal. If you're using it for TV there may be slight sound sync issues so you may need to play around with the settings to get it right.Anyway I would recommend this it's a bargain at less then 20 quid (for my needs anyway) and probably even more so in an Amazon deal.

Arrived quickly, I got this so I can use my wireless headphones with my tv. Its nice and small with a decent length cable (not to short) It’s easy to use, It took 2 tries to connect up 1st time (under a minute) I’d recommend making sure all over preconnected Bluetooth devices (phone/tablet) are switched off once (headphones) are on. On the receiver a light will flash untill it connects, (handy if later isn’t done). Sound quality is good with no sound delay, I can’t comment on the battery life as I haven’t used it for longer than 3hrs, so far no problems. Love the 15m WiFi distance. 😋

I've given this tiny, tiny, tiny box five stars because unlike the tautronics box that I sent back this actually works. It's the size of an after eight mint chocolate square.. One tiny issue I have noticed though is that if you out put via a headphone socket then the output volume needs to be adjusted because on my yamaha CD player the sound was distorting quite badly until I levelled it out. Sounds good.

I had a lot of problems getting this transmitter to pair with my Sony headphones, but I believe the fault lies mainly with the headphones and the instructions produced by Mpow.The solution was to set the headphones to factory settings - 1. turn them off 2. press on and Ambient buttons simultaneously for over 7 seconds (until the light flashes) 3. Turn the headphones on within 1 m of Mpow transmitter when it id flashing the blue light and Hey Presto they will work.Too early to say about the quality of the product but this might save you a few hours of frustration.

Pointless product. It has to be positioned no further than a meter from the speaker system that your sending the Bluetooth connection too. I purchased this for a projector to send the sound to my amazon echo. No matter what use I’m sure you would need a further distance than 1 meter from your sound source and speakers.

I purchased some AKG 50BT headphones & couldn't get an adapter that worked with them until this one. Plugged it in & had to wait 10 seconds or so & bingo, i now have headphones for my TV. It came the next day. Its small & has a good & above average range.After a few days of use i am noticing a hissing in the background when you get quiet periods on the sound on the tv i am using it on & getting more noticeable.

I used the device to connect a non old Sony fm / SW radio to my Ultimate ears BOOM 3 Bluetooth speaker it connected flawlessly the sound was very good. I also used it to connect a TV to the same speaker, no sync problems at all. I was watching both streaming and over the air programs no problems at all.
