The description says that this will hold 12 charger plates. It does not. 6 is probably the max capacity. So if you have 12 charger plates, buy 2 of these.Otherwise, this series of china storage is very good. I have more than 20 of these for all types of china from all plate sizes to cups and stemware. I do add other protection by putting the china in quilted storage bags first. If I were shipping these in a move, I would repack my china with bubble wrap, not relying on the boxes alone. The protectors that go between plates are ok but I make my own protectors from double quilted fabric. Thus they are larger and a little thicker. These are good for storing china to free up cabinet space while keeping the china clean and safe.

I bought several of the china storage boxes to store my Christmas dishes and a set of china that I don’t use very often. In general, I’m happy with them. My chargers are 12 inch Fiestaware plates. It’s a lot bigger than what I needed, but not tall enough. The description says it holds up to 12 charger plates. It held 5 of the Fiestaware plates. They are thicker than most plates. I have glass charger plates that are what I would consider “typical” charger plate thickness. It fit 6 of them. FYI - I had an extra coffee cup box. It fit 10 of the Fiestaware charger plates - and it was cheaper as well.

I ordered two of these storage boxes and so far, I am very happy with them. They are not completely hard sided, but they are sturdy.I would suggest that if you have glass chargers, don't fill it to the top. The only reason I suggest it is because I have both plastic and glass chargers and the glass ones are VERY heavy. I was able to fit 12 of the glass chargers in one box, however, the box feels less sturdy with so much extra weight in it.I just make sure to lift it from the bottom, but I think I may buy another one and split the set of 12, just to be safe.I have multiple storage boxes that match these (dinner/appetizer plates, wine stems/goblets) and I am very happy with all of them. They are stored in a closet that is easily seen by guests, so its nice to have quality looking storage boxes. I get comments on them all of the time.The clear window in front is nice too.Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and will continue to buy more of these.

I bought it to store my large platters, which I placed over the bookcase. It serves this purpose, and it doesn't attract too much attention, which is what I was going for.

I bought these to store my new chargers in I got for Christmas. Although the would fit more, I put in 6 in each one as the chargers are so heavy and I have 12. I carried them by the little handles and they seem quite sturdy. The felt pieces inside gives a nice cushion to each one.

We have used this brand for all of our storage of china and crystal - they work great and provide a nice clean look in our storage area.

Perfect! Solid, sturdy, just as pictured and described. I got these in addition to some bigger storage boxes, in order to maximize the space on my closet shelf. Before these (and the bigger boxes), it was a struggle to find what I was looking for on my closet shelf. Even though my clothing may have started out neatly folded, they would always end up in a mangled mess. Now that is all fixed! Thanks to Household Essentials. Finding what I need is much easier, now that my shelved clothing are organized in these storage boxes. Photos attached.

I would've given them 5 stars if they had more color options available. I have a full service etiquette business, and one of my most requested workshops is dining etiquette. These are the perfect storage totes for my chargers. I love the handles on each side to transport them, plenty of room inside, love the see-through window (I have various styles of chargers), and it fits my brand than to show up on a "job" with chargers in a box.
