Medela Postpartum Support

Should've got this with my first child. I liked the way it supported my back the most. A little ichy when i didn't place it right, but overall approve of this product.

I purchased this for abdominal support post c-section. It worked great in the hospital and in the first few weeks. However, as my stomach shrank back to its normal size, the belt was way too loose to be supportive any longer (and I had purchased the smallest size). I am not a skinny person, the belt is really just not very supportive. Also, it tends to roll up when you sit down, or will slide up, which was pretty painful as the bottom edge would hit my incision. It was a good deal and I'm glad I had it (if you have a c-section DEFINITELY get some sort of support belt for post op), but I think there are better ones on the market most likely. After this one was no longer useful I purchased a corset type waist cincher and it worked great to help my stomach get smaller again.

I bought the small size, which I believe is the smallest size. My regular dress size is size 4. The first week postpartum the band held pretty well. I am now 2 weeks postpartum and I have to stretch it to the very end of the velcro, and I know I could go smaller. So it is not really working for me anymore. I did wear it in public a few times by turning it backwards so the smooth part was on my tummy and the bulky part was in the back. That actually worked pretty well, especially with maternity pants that hold the flap in place. I just wish there were a smaller size, or more velcro on the one I have so that I could stretch it smaller.

I purchased this product a little over 2 months after my son was born. I was nervous I waited to long. But it works like a charm. I have noticed a huge difference and I am very close to being back to pre-baby weight (I work out and eat right too). It does ride up and roll but I just adjust it and forget about it. It is great!

The belt was ok but not as expected. After having my first baby thru c-section i didnt use any belt and my tummy looked as though i was 6 months pregnant even after delivery. So i thought of trying this belt after i had my second one thru VBAC. I ordered the large one which was way too big and so i returned it and ordered the small expecting it to be a tight fit. But the belt is not so tight and moreover as other reviewers said it rolls up and ends up like waring a rope around my tummy. Not a good purchase and not satisfied with the product.

This is a good product, it sucks everything where it needs to go. Makes the shirts that you once wore look good again

So I do love this support, but after wearing it for about 1 month the trim came off on one side, but not completely so it was almost like a gaping hole between the main part and the edging. Otherwise it worked great!

This was purchased for my wife, she said it's good quality for the price.
